{A/N: You guys will hate me for this but okay bye >=) }

*Nathan’s P.O.V*

Aggressive lightings were battling behind the crowd of clouds out in the distance as I watch the strikes of electricity furiously illuminate the sky, but it was soundless, no thunder, no rain; when I thought the battle was over, it was just planning for a new and more massive strikes, and hitherto, soundless; assailing in the sky only to vanished in a blink of an eye. Minutes later of staring into the abyss of the lighting wars, it finally made a presence, thunder and rain was there.

I don’t know why I’m speaking using these deep words, but I don’t know, when I feel mad I become like Shakespeare. Yes, I’m mad, at whom, Andrew and Melissa.

It all started last two weeks when I saw Melissa holding flowers and a guy taller than me (and two guys with giant strawberries on their heads) was near her, so near. She was blushing and smiling the smile of hers.

“Who’s him?” I asked Trixie, who was beside me, behind the crowd of people. I tried keeping my voice normal.

“Oh, that’s Andrew, Melissa likes him” she replied. I just nodded and bit the inside of my cheeks, not wanting to say anything more. I looked back up at them and saw ‘Andrew’ smiling at her. This time I furrowed my eyebrows and gave them death stares.

The janitor came and told us all to go home, I finally walked away from them only to see Andrew winking at Melissa. I shook my head at the sight and stormed out of the building.

Do I even dare to wait for her? She would probably go home today with ‘Andrew’. But just after a moment I can hear her talking to me like nothing just happened, did she think that I didn’t saw it? I just kept my face and walked without acknowledging her presence.

When I asked who was this ‘Andrew’ guy, she didn’t reply to me, she just smiled and shook her head to continue walking, making me feel stupid to even ask her, and for that I didn’t talk to her for the rest of the day.

I went to my room and tried to do my homework without the help of “Just smile it all away like nothing happened” girl.

I didn’t talk to her the next day, I let myself walk earlier at school, risking waking up early, staring at nothing inside an empty classroom, and the attention of the cheerleaders that is still not over me singing at the play. I just didn’t want to see her, not when I saw everything yesterday.

Jealousy.

I continued doing that for a week, I didn’t even bother to wait for her to go home anymore. Want to know why? Andrew has been taking her home. I watched through my window as he drops Melissa at the front door. I also ignored her during lunch, either not talking to her or leave before she even got there.

You know how much it kills me not being with her, but it kills me more knowing that she’s with another guy. Yesterday, she didn’t ate with us, she ate with Andrew and his group of friends. My hatred for them became bigger, even if that was possible. She’s smart, how can she not notice what she’s causing to me, to us?

“Nath, you okay there mate?” Jay asked me. Trixie, Luke and him are all looking at me like I was a maniac.

“Nothing, I’m tired”

You’re just jealous.

My mind went back to the day of our Les Miserables play and the lines of a character named Eponine, I can really relate to her. Yet it was weird, relating a Broadway song to your life.
