Two weeks after Bucky got transferred up to VA Winnie and Annabelle planned their engagement party. Bucky and Marissa knew that it wasn't just for them being the kids to who their days are it was basically a requirement and that requirement came with a price. That price was half the people invited didn't even know who they were. Marissa was just glad that she was able to invite 3 of her friends that she made at the college.
The night of the party she was at her apartment she curled her red hair did her make up then slipped her dress on. She was slipping her heels on when Bucky came in with his military blues on and zipped up her dress. "My god my baby looks good." he whispered

"Thanks..I just had twins almost 3 months ago and it took all I had to convince your mother and my mother to let me get this dress cause they kept pulling tight dress." she said then she turned around and swallowed hard.
"What? Is something wrong on my jacket?' he said as he looked down trying to figure out why she was suddenly went wide eyed.
She grabbed his cheeks and kissed him. He moaned as he pulled her closer to him backed her against her dresser. "Baby god please don't stop" she whispered as he kissed on her neck. "Mmm doll baby we are going to be late if you keep talking like that." he whispered in between kisses.
Then he laid her down on her bed as they continued to kiss then his phone started to vibrate in his pocket without missing a beat he reached in his pocket and "Hello."
"Where are you two? You have 10 minutes to get here." James said
"Yes sir. We will be right there." he said in between kisses
"James Buchanan you two better not be having sex we don't have you two to be late. Don't you two dare make me and Brooks look bad." James said
"Yes sir" he continued and hung up.
"Baby we gotta go." he whispered
"Mmm okay." she whispered
He got off of her went into her bathroom to get rid of his hard on she fixed her make up in the mirror on her dresser as well has her hair. He came up behind her and whispered "Baby likes me all dressed up like this. And you wanted nothing to do with this you just practically jumped me."
"shut up. How was I suppose to know you were going to look fucking sexy. We need to go before I try again." she said as she grabbed her clutch. He chuckled "You look good too baby." as he followed her out.
They got in the car then drove over to the venue which was the ball room they use for everything. Winnie said "They just pulled in." when she looked out the door then went down to where everyone was. Marissa slid her arm into his as they walked in then went down the stairs as everyone stared up at them.
They said their hellos to all the important people then they found their friends. "Sam Steve Clint I would like for you to meet my friends Natasha Wanda and Laura. Girls these are my friends and James's friends Sam Clint and Steve."
"It's nice to meet you ladies." Steve said
"The groom to be has asked for a special dance with his bride to be." The DJ said
"James. We haven't ball room danced in years." she whispered as he lead her on to the floor. "So I know you still got it and besides this is my song for you. My song that I played over and over in my head while I was away and you wouldn't talk to me."
"Far Away" By Nickelback started to play as he lead her across the dance floor.
He spun and dipped her and whispered the words in her ear. Winnie smiled and said "That's my boy."
Brooks looked at James "It's about damn time this happened. She can't fight the universe."
"That's for damn sure." James said
After their song was over another slow one started as everyone joined them on the floor. He said "See you knew how to do it without even practicing to a new song."
"Shut up.' She whispered
"Baby control that smart mouth of yours." he whispered as he spun her out then pulled back to him.
"You know I hate when you do that me. I'm a red head I have a temper and a mouth." she whispered
"My spicy girl there's a time and a place for my favorite side of you to come out." he whispered
At the end of the night Brooks and Annabelle picked up the girls from the babysitter as Marissa went to Bucky's house for the night.
