Far Away

Chapter 8

A few days later Marissa checked the mail to see that she got her debit card and she took the girls over to her parents house so she could go to the store alone. She got to the store she got the diapers and wipes she need breast milk bags a new pump then she got what food she needed for her and other house hold things. Then she took it all home unloaded her car as she was putting it away he skyped in.

"Hey gorgeous." he said 

"Hey." she said

"What are you doing?' he said

"I am putting away everything I bought at the store today. I got my card even though I told you I didn't.." but he cut her off.

"Baby you are my responsibility now you and those girls that's why I did it." he said

"But it feels weird Bucky. I'm not your wife I'm your girlfriend." she said

"So you will be one day.' He said 

She rolled her eyes "I hope that wasn't my proposal." 

"No but um so did you get everything you needed for them." he said

"All I needed was diapers and wipes and a new breast pump and breast milk bags so yeah." she said

"That certainly explains why your boobs look so much bigger." he said

"James Buchanan!" she exclaimed

"What? Baby you had big boobs now they are huge." he said 

She covered her face then shook her head "Baby I miss you so much I can't wait to get home to you and kiss you." he said 

"I miss you too." she said 

He smiled then said "I love you doll baby they are telling me to wrap it up. Dream of me baby." 

"I love you too baby and I always do." she said as he blew him a kiss.

He blew her a kiss then hung up. He emailed his dad to make sure he did the other thing he asked him to do in another email cause he couldn't ask him in front of her. James got the email then replied to it saying yes that he got what he told him to get.

A month later Marissa got her girls packed up and she headed down to Fort Jackson with Winnie and James to welcome him home. Winnie and James bought her a double stroller with new car seats just for the trip. They were standing on the tarmac they did their usual stuff before they released the soldiers. Bucky walked over to her and kissed her before he did anything else as he cupped her cheeks and rolled his tongue into her mouth. She moaned and broke the kiss "Mmm well hello to you too." 

He smiled and said "I've missed you baby." 

He hugged his parents then he pushed back the car seat covers to see his girls. "Sam!" he yelled 

Sam walked over and hugged Marissa "It's good to see you Rissa" Sam said 

"It's good to see you." she said 

"Look at my girls Sam" Bucky said 

"Those are some beautiful little girls you two have." Sam said 

"Thank you." Marissa said 

After they got to the car they went to dinner after dinner they went to Bucky and Sam's base house they lived in. Bucky finally got to hold his baby girls he fed both of them then after awhile he said "Mom dad take the girls I'll bring her to the hotel later."
