I'm sorry but I have to go on a rant about Mikey Way for a minute. So I literally started crying because of him. Here's why:
Mikey may look stone cold and heartless in a lot of pictures of him, but I watched this video and read this post thing and oh my goodness he's actually the kindest human on the face of the planet. Not enough credit is given to Mikey. This girl met him, and he saw her scars, and he asked her why she would do it... She told him her story, and he STARTED CRYING. He pulled her into a hug and said something along the lines of "I won't let them hurt you." Watching and hearing that made me cry, because I realized that there is some good in the world, but there aren't many people to prove it. Most people are selfish humans, and that thing that Mikey did was probably the kindest, rawest emotion I have ever seen come from a grown man in his thirties. Mikey Way deserves a lot of respect, and even more love. He truly doesn't get enough credit for everything that he's done. He came up with the band name for MCR, so just think, without Mikey, My Chem would've never happened. Think about that, and just wonder where so many people would be right now if MCR was never a band. They've saved so many lives, and given countless moments of their lives in hell making everyone else's lives better. This man is truly the definition of a hero. We need more people like this in the world.
