Chapter 18- Happy Birthday

"So, um, Brad kissed me." I spit out. Austin was silent for a seconds.

"What?"

"He kissed me, and I don't even remember it because it was on a ride and I passed out." I was still rambling on.

"Bell, it's okay."

"What?" Now it was my turn to be surprised.

"Listen, you said you didn't even remember it so we can just pretend it didn't even happen." I nodded my head.

I have managed to avoid everyone for a few days now. I have not turned on my phone or left my house. Coincidentally today was my birthday and no one has bothered to notice, not that I have a problem with that.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BELL!" I groan as my mum and Charlotte enter. My mum was carrying a cake whilst Charlotte followed behind with a few presents.

My mum sets the cake on my side table and Charlotte hands me the presents. The first two were from my mum and they were some brown boots and a new jumper. The third was from Charlotte. It was a bottle of Paris perfume from Bed bath and Body works. The last didn't have a card or a name tag.

I open it and the first thing in there was this black and multi color side purse. It was very pretty. At a closer look you could see tiny mickey heads. The next thing in there was a picture frame. The frame had a picture of me and Natalie in it that we took at Disney.

"Who is this from?" I ask my mum and Charlotte looks away.

"It's from Natalie." Noticing my discomfort she adds, "She said she got it a while ago but still wanted you to have it." I nod and they finally leave the room.

I put all the presents to the side and drift back into sleep.

"Marabella wake up!" I open my eyes and Charlotte's standing over me. "Come down to the living room and make sure you get dressed into something niceish."

I sit up very curious and go to my closet. I pick out this floral romper and flats before going in the bathroom and changing. I straighten my hair and french braid it to the side. After doing my makeup I start for the stairs.

"You took forever." Charlotte meets me halfway up the stairs. "Hold on wait right here." She runs back down the stairs and turns to our living room. "Okay you can come down now." She calls up.

When I reach the bottom of the stairs I turn into the living room and its dark, Darker than usual. I look out the window beside me. My mum must have left for work. "Charlotte?" I turn around and call for her. This is weird.

Its really dark and I trip over something, trying to walk. It makes a sound and I jump back. "Charlotte?!" I call out again. I step back and hit the light switch.

"SURPRISE!' A group of people pop up and scare the shit out of me. It's Austin, Charlotte, Becca, and the Vamps. Surprisingly Natalie is here as well. James leg is what I tripped on earlier.

I am laughing and smiling. Austin comes up and gives me a kiss handing me a small box. I notice there is also other boxes sitting on the coffee table in the middle of the room. "Are those for me?" I stupidly ask, whilst everyone nods. We all sit on the enormous couch that I have in my living room. Natalie sits on an armrest farthest away from me. She isn't smiling or laughing like the others. I really wish she didn't come.
