Everything was on fire, people were running and scattering everywhere, cars were zooming through! As Leon made to move through the rode, a car began barreling towards him!

"Leon, look out!!" I screamed, and he stopped just in time. We found another survivor trapped under a car, and we freed him, just in time for a motorcycle to come crashing through! We made our way through town, running now, and went inside somewhere.

"Good idea, it might be safer if you guys try to keep indoors." Hunnigan said.

"And maybe we can catch our breath!" Leon added, as I leaned against a nearby railing, breathing heavily.

"Didn't you hear me say we have to hurry?" Helena asks, irritated. Now, I was getting frustrated.

"Yes...we did...you don't need to keep reminding us...every five seconds!" I said, between breaths. Leon came over to me, checking me over quickly, and once I had some of my breath back, we made our way out of the house, after unlocking the door. As we made it through other houses, and out back into town, we saw more survivors, a police officer, a girl, and her boyfriend, though he was treating his girlfriend rather poorly in my opinion! Leon ended up shooting gas leaking from the gas station, destroying any nearby zombies, and we followed them towards a gun shop. I heard the officer remark that it was his first day. I couldn't help but to smile and look over at Leon, hoping he had heard that. He laughed a little, and we got rid of the zombies in the gun shop. The elderly man who owned the shop let us upstairs then, but, again we were swarmed by zombies again! As we hurried outside, finally getting rid of them, we made it to the bus that had come to get the man. One of the giant zombies, however, was keeping the bus from going anywhere. As we tried to get rid of it, the older man was pulled out of the bus, and one of the other guys jumped out after him to try and save him. I could tell because I heard the older man shout:

"You coming with me, son? Fine! I'll buy you a drink in hell, boy!" I sighed, and we finally got the zombie away, and headed for the cathedral. As we were headed there, Hunnigan took the opportunity to contact us.

"...90% of the population in Tall Oaks has been infected with the virus. That rounds out to about 70,000 hostiles." She said. I shook my head.

"Geez. How did the virus spread so fast?" I muttered.
"We also received word that an organization named "Neo-Umbrella" just claimed responsibility for the attack." She said, and my heart seized up at the name. I involuntarily shuttered as I pushed back the unwanted memories that still haunted me to this day. Leon gently placed a hand on my shoulder.

"Neo-Umbrella?" He asked.

"I know what you're thinking."

"Yeah. This is Raccoon City all over again." He said.

"Too much like Raccoon City..." I muttered, taking a shaky breath, and halting the panic attack that was about to follow. I shook my head, and focused on what Hunnigan was saying.

"That's all the news I've got. Now it's your turn to help me. I need to know what's in that cathedral. I've got suits breathing down my neck for info." She said.

"Suits?" Leon asked. Hunnigan nodded.

"Specifically, Derek C. Simmons-National Security Advisor." She said. I was quick to notice that Helena's gaze hardened at the mention of Simmons's name, and that put me on guard. I always got a bad feeling when I was around Simmons. Something in the back of my mind told me that I needed to stay away from him, despite him being one of the President's closest friends. Suddenly, the man driving the bus said:

"Hang on!" And he mowed down a zombie, causing the bus to bump, and him to swerve, and the back of the bus was now hanging off the edge of the cliff! Zombies began swarming us, taking the other two survivors, and forcing Leon, Helena, and I to lay on our backs and try to shoot them off, however, the more zombies that came in, the more we began to teeter over the edge.

"Brace yourselves!" Leon said, as we moved farther over the edge. We continued shooting the zombies, however, Leon saw a semi barreling towards us! "Grab hold of something!" He called, and I immediately grabbed onto him. He grabbed my arms and pulled me over, so that I was lying on top of him, and wrapped his arms around me, and I wrapped my arms around him. I quickly grabbed Helena's arm and pulled her over to us. Then, the truck hit us, and we all held onto each other as the bus went over the cliff. When we woke, Leon and I were still hanging tightly onto each other, and Helena was a few feet away from us. Leon and Helena stood up, and I sat down as I was hurting a bit. The driver reached out to us, and Leon intended to get him, but the bus exploded! "They escaped the infection...just to die like this." He muttered. Helena looked at him.

"There's no time to grieve. We have to get to the Cathedral."
