Keita rolled on his white bed in the darkness, he couldn't seem to sleep for a hour; he checked his phone for something to make his sleepless night worthwhile, he opened the phone up, lighting up the room with it's bright white screen, when it finished starting up, he swiped to the left, entering the page that his social media was on.
He found nothing new inside the app, there wasn't even anything about his friends, but he guessed that it was because that he checked it over a million times today.
"Heh, as I guessed, nothing new."
He talked to himself many times, and he continued to do it, as there was no one else to talk to, and no one else to listen. He remembered the memory- no, vision that kept him up all night, and when he remembered it, the vision accompanied his life, what he saw was beautiful enough to make any sight pale in comparison.
It was on a beautiful emerald field, the sky shining the yellow glow of the morning, the pale clouds parted to reveal the bright golden sun. Pink sakura trees dotted the landscape, birds of all colours and species, populated the forest, but none in the vision was as beautiful as the girl that was in the middle of it, on a raised ground that stood like a pillar, light seeped through the crown of the forest, bringing vision to those who looked in it.
As for the girl, she wore a beautiful dress that accentuated her curves and her girly features, her soft face showing unimaginable beauty, blending in with the surroundings like she was camouflage, her royal purple hair shined bright like the sun, nothing was amiss, but alas, as he suddenly woke up, his mortal mind digesting all of the features of the dream and imprinted it onto his memory. He had not forgotten it one bit.
He sat up, it was not the time to remember old dreams, he thought, as he got out of his bed and walked to the wooden door that was the entrance of his room and opened it, the hinges creaked in their old age and rust, he cringed at the sound and silently made his way to the living room, down the stairs and there 'it' was...The thing was a long telescope, it was the length of his thin arm, he couldn't get the exact measurements because he didn't have the measurement tools, "I guess, I can waste my time looking at the stars or something," he inspected the sleek telescope, "if I don't use it, then what was the use buying it with my own money?" He mentally laughed, he took care not to actually speak outside of his mind due to the risk of causing more noise than the limit could allow.
He carried the telescope and the tri-pod it came with when it arrived in the mail, he carried it up the apartment and into his little room, he set up the tri-pod carefully and made sure he did it correct, now, it was the part where he put the delicate telescope onto the tri-pod.
He lifted it up waist height, and carefully affixed the telescope on the top of the tri-pod, somehow, he remembered the manual and actually did it correctly, 'I think I did it right,' he smiled brightly, though he panicked inside when he felt a vibration from his modern phone, 'ah!'
He flitted to his desk and grabbed the phone and quickly silenced it, "damn it..." he cursed silently as he lowered and muted the phone, he searched for the cause of the notification... "oh," he looked at the cause, and it was apparently his friend inside the social app, his eyes softened and sat down on the messy bed.
He looked at the message from Mono, 'You're still awake? You normally sleep two hours earlier,'
she texted him, he typed in a message and tapped enter, he was a fast typer if he said so himself. 'I'm bored, and I don't know what to do... there's a dream I've been thinking about lately...' he stood up, took a chair from the corner of his small room and dragged it to the telescope.
'Strange, a dream is also doing that to me...heehee, anyways, what are you doing right now?' she was also fast at typing with a phone, 'I'm using a telescope to look at the stars with more detail.' Another text came through as soon as he hit enter, 'I'm stargazing in the garden.'
His eyes widened with delight as he smiled a wide smile, ear to ear, he laughed wholeheartedly, but then realized that his mother was sleeping and he quickly shut up. He sighed in relief when he didn't hear movement in his mother's room.
'That's...great, I guess? Hahaha?' he received the message, he then typed a message of his own and hit enter, the message going through as soon as his finger brushed the screen. 'It's like we're clones or something, hahaha...'
He then put his phone on the table next to him and put his eye to the lens of the telescope, where he sees the milky way for himself...
The night eventually ended, Keita stargazed with Mono and they exchanged knowledge and information. They had fun and wonder...and Tsuykull di Bisquera is tired.
