Chapter 16

Normal P.O.V.

You felt everything around yourself waver, anger and disbelief entering your thoughts, before you knew it, you were already shaking, tears overflowing, eyes dilating, lips quivering. It was like your heart stopped for a moment, like you were experiencing death. Dropping to your knees, your legs, arms, every part of your body quivering as you tried to stop yourself by covering your shaking body with your shaking arms.

You really couldn't believe it, you were trained so harshly yet the moment Seredy appeared next to you oh so suddenly made you feel frightened. His eyes held mischief and the intent to obliterate anything and anyone who stands in the way of his goals disgusted you.

Being so scared, you remembered your thoughts of Seredy having Overload as it coursed through your mind, you didn't even bother wiping away your tears because you knew it would be fruitless to do so. You just sat there, on your knees in the empty hallways, scared to death.

Kyousuke's P.O.V.

I told Yuno that Y/n would be heading home first because she wasn't feeling well, she seemed to buy my lie and went on conversing with the others about their thoughts of the earlier events. Arata went off to who-knows-where, he seemed serious so I probably shouldn't follow him. I talked to Haruki and Hikaru for a bit until I felt my body feel heavy. After a split second, everything was normal, I looked around frantically, as I heard Hikaru asking me what was wrong.

"Guys, I have a bad feeling....we should go back to the dorms" I stated as everyone seemed to pay attention to me, everyone is probably aware that being in the same building with Ezeldarm is dangerous as it is. We started to walk in a group, Haruki leading us as the others began to continue their conversations, I still felt a bit off but I shrugged it off. Haruki suddenly stopped, making me bump into him which caused Rinko to bump into me.

"Ouch, why did you stop?" I turned my head and gave her an apologetic look. "Sorry, Rinko-san, Haruki suddenly stopped" I gave her a sheepish smile as she sighed, rubbing her forehead. "K-Kaido-san" I turned my head immediately hearing Sakuya stutter, just a few meters away from us was Y/n, on her knees, shaking violently, her face scrunched up in fear. My heart clenched seeing her in that state, she looked so vulnerable and weak, just by the expression on her face and tears streaming down her face, I knew she was terrified. But terrified of what exactly?

Rikuya and Haruki ran up to her, crouching down, trying to calm her down. Roy somehow seemed conflicted, I glanced at his hands that were shaking, him sighing, he placed his hands on her shoulder and embraced her. If Y/n wasn't in that state, I knew I'd probably give him a scolding but I'll let it slide this time.

Normal P.O.V.

Turning your head slightly upwards, you could see Roy, his arms around your waist, hands rubbing your back in circular motions. You were stiff but you relaxed little by little, enjoying his fingers running through your h/c locks. You weren't shaking anymore, your heartbeat began to slow down at a normal pace, you could only sigh thankfully and pass out in his arms.

"K-Kaido-s-san" Roy stuttered out, cheeks red as he could feel you breathe against his neck. Gendou walked over to the flustered boy and cupped you in his arms, carrying you bridal style. "Let's go to the dorms, seeing Kaido act like that, just shows that something bad is going to happen" Gendou stated as everyone nodded, getting scared as well. Quickly jogging to the dorms, their adrenaline fading as the dorm building was in their line of sight.

Ms. Tome at first, was surprised to see you unconscious, she led Gendou to a couch as the boy gently placed you on it. "What happened?" Ms. Tome questioned Haruki who shook his head in reply. "We just saw her standing in the hallways, shaking" Hikaru replied to the elderly woman who sighed and went back to kitchen, cooking up some soup for you. Kyousuke crouched down next to your laying form and noticed that the necklace he thought to belong to your master no where to be seen.

He looked down confused, but once he saw you stir and open your eyes, he widened his eyes and smiled widely. "Y/n" he mumbled, he was about to place his hand on your shoulder until you grabbed his arm and hugged it close your chest. "K-K-Kaido-chan!" Hanako squeaked and began to fangirl with Yuno and Catherine silently. "What's wrong?" Kyousuke questioned, and widened his eyes more as he saw your eyes, glassy as tears threatened to exit your eyelids.

"He took it.... " Kyousuke's eyes sharpened as you said those words."Who took it?" his voice calm but you could hear a bit of anger mixed in it. "Master's necklace........ Seredy, Seredy took it..." Kyousuke froze, eyes darkening as his eyes held anger and bloodlust. He wrapped his arms around your body and kissed your forehead, a few tears slipped out as he placed your hand against his chest.

"We'll get it back..... I'm sure of it" he tried to reassure you as you whispered something in his ear making him widen his eyes in fear, catching everyone's attention. "I see....." the blonde mentioned, his emerald eyes tinted with fear and determination. "Arata!" hearing Yuno shout, the door banging, closing shut was heard afterwards. Sitting up, you sighed as Ms. Tome exited the kitchen and held up a bowl of soup. Kyousuke took it as you began to eat it, nerves calm as your body relaxed, inhaling the scent of the elder woman's soup.

"Sorry for worrying everyone" stating,  with your head down, some just smiled as Yuno placed a hand on your left shoulder. "Don't worry about it, Kaido-chan!" smiling slightly, Rinko began to feed you making you chuckle a bit. "Arata's back" hearing Sakuya say that, you turned your head, seeing a frustrated redhead telling everyone what happened while he was out.

"To do such a thing to Hikaru is quite low for them...." Kyousuke pointed out as he was told about Hikaru's control pod incident. You weren't informed either, hearing the news made you feel angry a bit, but you calmed down afterwards. "It just goes to show that Ezeldarm would go through ways just to accomplish their goals, no matter how dangerous" everyone agreed as you saw Jin comforting Ms. Mito.

"Kaido-chan" Yuno's voice caught your attention as you looked at her, smiling. "It's getting late, wanna sleep in my room?" nodding, the brunette smiled widely as she dragged you to her room.
