Chapter 21

Your P. O. V.

I stared at the ceiling in front me in boredom. I am currently in my room, lights off with Sebastian resting on the couch. My insomnia worked up again making me sigh and grab a book from one of the bookshelves in the room. I grabbed a book called 'Undying' and began to read it. After finishing the fifteenth chapter, I heard a knock on the door.

"Who's there?" I immediately questioned strictly, instinctively grabbing the gun on my bedside table.

"It's me, Y/n - san" I hopped out of the bed and slowly walked to the door.

"Namino - san?"

"Yes, it's me, Yuno" I opened the door to see a worried Yuno. I quirk a brow at her to see her slightly pant with beads of sweat on her face. I grabbed the handkerchief in my back pocket and wiped her face.

"What's the matter?" I questioned, hearing a gulp from her.

"Rikuya got attacked" I widened my eyes and stared at her in worry.

"Is he alright?" she nodded and led me to the living room to see most of Jenock here already. Rikuya was on the couch, holding an ice pack on the back of his head.

I sat beside him, taking away his hand that held onto the ice bag, replacing it with mine as I saw the small bump on the area he placed the ice bag on. Everyone was in thought as Rikuya told us what happened.

"Was it really Ayabe?" Rikuya nodded as I looked down in thought.

"When I opened the door, he suddenly attacked me"

"Ayabe took the parasite key?"

Nozomi entered the room telling us she couldn't find Ayabe. Tadashi and Kaito followed after telling us the same thing. "What if Ayabe is a part of Ezeldarm?" Kyousuke questioned as I looked down in thought.

"If he is a part of Ezeldarm....what is his role?" I questioned until Arata began to mutter out loud.

"Seredy.....the world savers.." I widened my eyes at his words. "Guys, what are the World Savers?" Yuno stared at him before explaining the bad deeds the World Savers have done as terrorists.

"What about them, Arata?" Muraku questioned Arata who froze in shock at Yuno's words.

"Seredy said he was one of those World Savers!" everything began to go blurry when Arata said that.

I looked down in shock and fear. If Seredy was a part of World Savers, then, why would he be at this school? unless.....he's after the data of every nation who joined the ERP? And not only that, he also has Overload. I turned to Rikuya and frowned.

"Let's report this to Ms. Mito, and wait for our next orders" Haruki stated as we all nodded in understanding.

~Time Skip~

"Is that so? All right, I will speak to the headmaster about this" Ms. Mito stated, as we all stood in front of her. "I'll come, I want to report this to my father" Rikuya said, as Ms. Mito nodded.

"May I come also? I need to speak with Takuya - san" Ms. Mito nodded in understanding. Arata then stated that he wanted to come along, until Ms. Mito told him to stay with the others until further notice. After that, me and Rikuya followed her, I turned my head and observed Rikuya. His shoulders were slump down and he had a frown on his face. I wish I could tell him his father's condition but I made a promise to only tell him when the time is right.

We entered the headmaster's office and Ms. Mito told Headmaster Josephine everything and Rikuya got to call his father. I waited patiently until the headmaster gave me the phone.
