Stella POV:

Being a cop and a deviant helper is super tiring. I'm driving to work right and yes I'm a little late it's because I didn't get much sleep but luckily Olivia and Patrick allowed Markus to hide in their apartment since I had their key and all so Markus can actually stay hidden until we both head to Jericho together. I've arrived at the station so I headed straight to the kitchen to make myself some coffee "Fuck, look at that... Our friend the plastic detective is back in town! Congratulations on last night, very impressive!" Oh great, so I'm guessing Gavin is being a bastard again.

"Hello, Detective Reed." And there's Connor being kind as always. I peeked into the kitchen and saw Gavin was walking up to Connor but him being an android he didn't move an inch. Why can't I read Connor, is it because he's an android and not a deviant... It's just too confusing.

"Never seen an android like you before..." Gavin decided to scan Connor from top to bottom "What model are you?" Oh wow, hearing Gavin wanting to know what model Connor is a surprise but I feel like it's not a good thing if it comes from that twats mouth.

"RK800. I'm a prototype." And Connor answered him. I wonder what his comeback to that would be, probably won't be good. I feel like something bad is going to happen and I won't allow that but I feel like I'm frozen in place.

"A prototype?" Gavin glanced at his partner "Android detective..." He looked back at Connor "So machines are gonna..." Oh, wait for it... I know the next thing he's going to say "replace us all..." Ding, ding, ding I was correct everyone... Gavin is just a prick like always "Is that it?.." why can't he just leave Connor alone "Hey, bring me a coffee, dipshit!" Connor didn't budge one bit "GET A MOVE ON!"

Don't do it, Connor, just refuse he's just being a dick "I'm sorry, but I only take orders from Lieutenant Anderson and Officer Stella." He's getting used to saying my first name but why put Officer in the front. I'm just so glad he refused to make him a coffee.

"Oh...Oh..." Gavin quickly turned to his partner and swung his arm, punching Connor in the stomach causing him to fall to the ground. I ran to Connor's side and tried to help him up "Oh look your little girlfriend is here by your side" Gavin looked at me with anger in his face "If your precious dad hadn't got in the way yesterday, I would've fucked you up and your boyfriend for disobeying a human. Stay outta my way both of you...'Cause next time... You won't get off so easy."

When Gavin and his partner left I looked at Connor "Are you okay Connor?" Connor finally straightened up tidied his tie so I quickly pulled him into a hug. Why did I just hug him?! Jeez I've been hanging out with Ralph too much, every time he got hurt I would always hug him to make him happy "Oh thank god you're alright" When I felt Connor stiffen I was going to pull away but he accepted my hug "I'm glad he didn't hurt you"

"Androids don't feel pain," Connor said "I am alright Stella. It didn't bother me" I looked up at him and saw he was watching me. "It is kind of you to worry Stella" Connor and I pulled away so I made myself a coffee since I am in the kitchen anyway and I need some coffee to wake myself up. "Stella what is your relation with Gavin Reed?" that question shocked me the most. I looked at my bandaged hand and sighed

"I was his partner. I helped him work cases, we were great together but that's when I found out he hated my best friends and even my dad" I don't know why I'm telling him this but I feel happy to get this off my chest "I actually grew feelings for him but I hated him after what happened when he hurt my best friend. I decided to switch partner so now I work with my dad" I got my drink and turned to Connor "And now you" I grabbed my drink and walked with Connor to the cell where the deviant was.

We walked to the front of the cell and saw the android was still upset "They're gonna destroy me..." I am so sorry. I wish I could help I really do but there's nothing I can do. I looked down at the ground in sadness. I am so sorry.
