Author's note: sorry it took so long. College started back up again and I've been having bad writers block, so it explained the lame post. But i promise the next chapter will be better.
*************no one's POV************************************

After a certain time of the night it seems the fire finally went down, making the cave dimmer, except for the glow of the mushrooms and moos on the walls. Alduin was still awake as his red eyes moved to look at the female nord that was well asleep, peacefully or for the most part. He sometimes saw her toss and turn on the soft animal skin, but nothing more. her dragonbone armor was on the side next to her, with only her under clothes on because it was too heavy for her to sleep in and her black hair a little in her face. He would have gone out to fly, but remembered he was still injured, enough to prevent himself from flying and he hated it.

He hated to be confined to the ground, forced to see the way a mortal does and to be cared for by one, but by the dragonborn of all people. Why did she have to be so kind and think such foolish things that was impossible? There dovah minds are build to dominate and have brutal instincts. Then again even he had to admit she wasn't much weak as he thought, instead she had a very strong thu'um. No wonder she was able to use that shout to tame even himself, well for now. Then again he was curious as to see what her next moves will be.

After a moment more he turned away and rested himself, until the next morning where he heard her stir and move everything to fix herself some breakfast for the new morning. The nord woman grabbed herself the last few things she had, chopping them up and putting them in the pot after relighting the fire. Alduin watched, feeling his own stomach move with emptiness because he was hungry, but seemed to be too stubborn to ask to woman for something to eat. So he sat quietly, watching her instead as she put the top on and let it cook before walking up to him.

Alduin slightly moved himself back, giving her a sharp look, but she raised her hands up instead to show the glowing that was admitting from them.

"I'm only going to finish healing you or would you rather stay on the ground, injured," she said softly, but with seriousness in her voice.

Alduin huffed before he relaxed a little and let her do what she needed, feeling the energy return to him slowly as his injuries healed. Colette healed the severe ones first, using all of her magic energy. It didn't take long for her to finish, but he still had a few minor injuries left and thought to continue later at night. Though for now she needs to figure out a way to get him around skyrim without getting recognized. The female nord was in deep thought for some time as she finished up her morning breakfast, while Alduin only looked curiously at her. He hasn't said anything since she healed him, though only observed her carefully.

He had to admit she didn't look bad for a mortal the longer he stared at her. Though after a moment he looked away, and grunted, but also growled at himself for such a thought.

***********************Colette's POV********************************

I payed no mind as I felt his red eyes stare at me for a good bit while I finished up my breakfast, but the silence was starting to slightly bug me. Even though I often traveled alone, I occasionally made sure I ended up near a inn at least because there was always someone I know inside. While traveling alone I realized that sometimes you get to a point where you crave for human interaction and this is definitively a change in what I normally do, but I don't seem to mind it.

It's just I wish he would talk, except for the grunts and growls he does. I know he hates me, but doesn't mean we can't have one decent conversation, I mean odahviing is a better conversationalist.

Well with the healing I've been doing he should be able to fly now.

Though I do know one thing I've found out about dragons is that they have a shout to turn themselves into humans temperately. I only know this because paarthurnax in trusted me with the secret and I've spent a lot of time with him when I first met him, but unfortunately he couldn't join me on one of my adventures because of his old age. Though I did get the chance on meditating on the words of power. He was always pleasant company and it was this time that I sorta missed him, but always had ohdahviing around who wasn't too bad of company either.

Unfortunately Alduin would never use that shout because it was forbidden and he doesn't like mortals as it is, so it was out of the question to ask him to use the shout, despite how simpler it would make this. I only just remembered about it now since everything has been calmer and the war between the rebels and imperials has been over before the time I met paarthurnax.

The silence continued all the way until night when I went out to check at the sky that was pitch black. Good thing I went hunting earlier for some rabbit for dinner, but knew Alduin would probably be hungry by now and was most likely too stubborn to say something. So with a sigh I came back inside the cave and saw him only laying down, his red eyes railing me again.

"It's night now and you should be able to fly again, so you can go out, but make sure you return before sun rise,"I muttered to him as I folded my arms.

He only stared at me for a moment, not really making a move before I sighed with a bit of impatience.

"Would you rather stay here or fly like the dovah you are?"I asked.

Alduin bared his teeth a little before standing up, "fine, fine joor."

"Well you've been quiet all day, I would expect that you would talk or insult me all day,"I said actually curious.

He grunted, "no."

I slightly bit my lip, "well I will be here, I might leave tomorrow morning to gather some more food."

Alduin slightly nodded before leaving the cave, making dirt kick off the walls because of his big size. Though I also could hear his wings flap when he kicked off the ground to start flying and soon it was quiet around me once again. I cooked a good rabbit stew after an hour, though didn't forget to feed the horse either for the night and after a bit longer I finished reading a book I brought as I let the fire die down, until the natural lighting of the moss and mushrooms made cave dim with light. Then closed the book once the fire died and got ready for a good sleep.
