Do you believe in this crap?

Hallie's POV:

I stared at the bright screen wondering why on earth people would make such unrealistic soppy crap. What’s worse than this is the fact that people actually fall for this stupid façade.

I glared daggers at my sister, the biggest moron and believer of this façade.

In real life, the guy doesn’t catch the girl when she falls...or dance in the rain…or for that sake kiss in the rain.

"Lily change this please before I honestly hit you with the closest item next to me..." I say calmly to my annoying younger sister, hiding my irritation.

Lily's eyes wonder to me and then to the laptop near me.

"You wouldn't" Lily declares her confidence wavering near the end as she sees my confident smirk.

"Darling, let me remind you. It's not my laptop... why wouldn't I hit you with it?"

"You're so weird. How can you not like The Notebook?"

"Because I'd prefer not to see delusional cow dung that slowly brainwashes you and has you crying for the perfect man, which let me tell you now he most likely probably does not exist and never will...

So yes I can not like The Notebook." I harshly respond to my stupid innocent sister.

Lily's eyes stare at me with surprise her bright blue eyes shining. I was always jealous of her blue eyes, even my parents thought Lily was cuter. My eyes are just plain Jane brown but sometimes simplicity is key- nope that's just to make me feel slightly better about myself.

"Well at least I won't end up living alone in an apartment with the odour of my sadness." Lily responds confidentally staring at me intensely.

I crack a slight smile at my younger sister, even though it didn't make complete sense I got to give it to her, it's not too bad of a comeback.

"Well at least I won't be sitting in my apartment kissing my Ryan Gosling cardboard cutout, crying about how the perfect guy doesn't exist." I respond whilst grabbing the remote from her hand.

Lily glares at me and walks out the room.

"Do some homework or something... I saw your maths work. And girl let me tell you, that's one long ass sheet. If you want some help bring it to me later." I reply putting on my big sister voice.

Lily might be the most delusional girl on earth but she's family and well no matter how much family pisses you off. You have to be there for them.

I unlock my phone and see 10 new messages from Alex, he's such a desperate creep. I mean he's probably telling 10 other girls 'I miss you, I want you back' as well as me.

Guys are dicks.

I check the time on my phone, ten minutes till I have to go that shithole of a place I call work. I just hope my boss is in a good mood, highly unlikely but a woman can dream.

Hi guys this is my first story, sorry it's a bit boring. I just need to start the story. Thanks guys :) SMILE YOU'RE ALL BEAUTIFUL SUNSHINES!
