None of this stuff happened today... yeah....none of this happened... I feel my self drift away into a soothing sleep.
In my dream, I'm running toward someone. That person is calling my name, and I feel like I need to get there. Kelsey..... Kelsey...... Kelsey.... I realize the person calling me is Michael. "Michael! I'm coming! Just...Just hold on!" I run as fast as I can. But the closer I get, the further he gets. "Michael! Come back!" Then he disappears....
Michael's point of view
When I came back into her room, she was asleep. I probably shouldn't wake her...but I should tell her I'm leaving so she won't be worried. I go over to her and sit next to her. She so cute when she sleeps. I take in the view, before I wake her up. I start whispering, "Kelsey.... Kelsey.... Kelsey...." I hear her mumble something. I lean down to hear her. She keeps saying, "Michael. I'm coming. Just...Just hold on." Whoa...she's dreaming about me? That's sweet.... Suddenly, she wakes up and smashes me in my head with her head. I want to scream in pain, but she covers my mouth with her hand. While holding her head, she whispers, "Shhhh. Michael, I'm sorry. You scared me." The pain eases. She takes her hand off my mouth. "I'm sorry, Kelsey. I was just gonna tell you something." She sits up. "What time is it?" I look at her clock on her dresser. "Um...it's 2:15 am." She seems shocked. "What? What took you so long?" "I was taking my time." She giggles. I smile. I know what she's gonna say next. "Um..you know...I gotta go to school today...you probably got stuff to do...maybe yo-" I interrupt her. "Please. I don't want to leave. I don't want to go back to that house." "Michael, you have too. Its your home and you can't just stay here secretly forever." "Ok. Just....please....let me stay...just a few more hours..." She looks down, then back at me. "Ok. Just a few more hours." I smile. "Thank you." I look around her room. I sense her staring at me. I look at her. "Is something wrong?" She blushes. "No...its just...never mind." "No tell me." "You might find it rude.." "No I won't." She sighs. "Ok...I was just wondering why your skin is this....uh... white." I look at her. Finally. I was wondering when she was gonna bring it up. "Well, first, I don't find it rude at all. And second, I have a disease called vitiligo. You know what that is?" She nods her head and said, "Yes." "Yeah...I'm African American. If you were wondering." She puts her hand on mine. "Well, you look beautiful like this." She gazes into my eyes. I blush and look down. I feel her hand touch my face. I look at her. I never wanted to care for anyone again....I can't help these feelings....She's... She's making me fall in love with her.. I want to kiss her...no...I need to kiss her. I look at her lips. She knows what I want. What I need. I slowly lean forward. She leans forward to. Our lips slowly meet. Its the most softest, most incredible kiss I've ever had. It feels like sparks are flying everywhere. I don't want this to end. I wrap my hands around her waist. She grabs my head. I never knew a kiss could feel this good. I never want it to end. I raise my hand to her head. I feel like I'm in paradise. What could be better? All good things come to an end. She pushes me away gently. "Have I done something wrong?" "No, Michael. I just want to slow down." "Of course." I'm so happy about the kiss, that I fall back on her bed. She lays close next to me. Her head on my shoulder. We just lay there. For hours.
6:30 am
I turn and look at her. She's asleep. I check the time. Wow..I really need to get going. I slowly get up. Trying not to wake her up. When I finally get up, I look back at her. Is this true love? I lean down and kiss her on her forehead. I cover her up with a quilt. I slowly open her window and leave. Walking home I thought, Finally...I've found happiness. Thank you, God.
