I stumbled out of the club, my cheeks still wet with my tears. I could feel my body shaking. My chest heaved and shook as sobs wracked my body.
I glanced around at the people on the street, none of them noticed me. I gulped back a sob and looked down at my hands hesitantly.
The sparks were gone.
I let out a shaky breath of relief and feel myself start to relax.
I heard the club door open behind me and the sound of footsteps.
"Hannah," I hear Cupid's voice, he was angry, "What the hell happened in there?"
I slowly turn to face him, still bleary eyed and shaky. I knew I had mascara running down my cheeks, but I didn't really care. Clothes were ruffled liked he had to push his way through the crowd.
"I- I'm sorry..." I mumble, barely able to suppress my sobs again, "I was in the booth and this guy sat next to me and I told him you were coming back but I couldn't see you."
"So you freaked out and shocked him? Hannah, that was an important meeting and you interrupted it and caused a scene!" He said, "Not to mention now my ass is grass because you were suppose to be kept a secret!"
I whimper and feel my tears start again, my breathing shaky and uneven. I wasn't a pretty crier at all.
"I'm sorry..." I whimper, "He- he... and he had me cornered in and I couldn't see you... You said I wouldn't get hurt."
His face softened to regret and then hardened again to anger, but not at me. It was terrifying, I felt the anger roll off him in waves.
"Did he touch you?" He asks through gritted teeth, I didn't look at his face, "Hannah, tell me if he did? Did he hurt you?"
He was like an atomic bomb with so much anger and rage hitting me like a truck. A whimper escapes me as he nearly yelled. I quickly nod.
"I'm gonna kill that son of a..." he growls and trails off before stepping closer, "Are you ok? Hannah?"
I nod and wipe my eyes dry quickly, "I'm fine, I just want to go home."
"Hannah," he says and pulls my face to look at him gently, "I can feel your panic."
His eyes were calming, I know he was doing this purposefully, but I accepted it. As the panic and adrenaline wore off, I started to feel the exhaustion of the night. My arms and legs felt heavy.
I gulp and nod slowly before correcting myself, "I'll be fine... I'm just really tired..."
"Ok," he said smiled a little, but it didn't reach him eyes, "Let's go home."

"You took her to a club, got her drunk, then left her in the booth to get groped by some pervert!?" Jess's voice boomed through the room as she berated Cupid. She nearly had him pinned against the wall.
Cupid and I had been unsuccessful in our attempt to sneak back in and had been caught by Aphrodite, Jess, and Alex. Jess and Aphrodite were of course quite angry, though I could tell it was for different reasons. Jess was my friend, I was glad she had my back. Cupid had left me alone to expose myself to their world.
Apparently the news had spread quite quickly, which is why we were caught sneaking back in. Aphrodite was fuming, but she didn't speak up yet. I watched her quietly, her brow set in a hard line. Even angry she was still beautiful.
They all were.
"She's not drunk," Cupid said in his defense, "We only had a few drinks, she's just tired."
This angered Jess even more, much to the delight of Alex. She of course, found this whole thing hilarious. It almost made me mad that she could be so petty to laugh at her brother when now there was a hole in her mothers plan.
Jess's voice again brought me out of my thought, "She shouldn't have been drinking in the first place!"
"You drink all the time!" Cupid did have a point there.
"That's different!"
"Enough!" Aphrodite's voice is as like ice. Instantly the room seemed to chill and Jess stepped away from Cupid.
"Cupid, you acted in an extremely foolish manner!" She scolded and for the first time, I saw Cupid blush in embarrassment, "You have revealed Hannah's identity to the world and now her father has called up all to Olympus."
"Olympus?" I quickly interjected, the alarm bells were ringing in my head, "I thought only the Olympians lived there?"
The thought terrified me. According to what Aphrodite told me, the Olympians lived on the top of mount Olympus. Zeus lives there. What if he decided he didn't like me and just hit me with one of his lightning bolts!?
"That is correct," she says, "Your father has ordered your presence at his palace by tomorrow morning, or I suppose that's later this morning considering it's 1:00 AM."
"Are you saying that my father is one of the Olympians?" I ask her, noticing the way the others listened intently. I knew that they knew so their serious faces told me the truth before Aphrodite could even answer.
She sighed and finally gave me the confirmation, "Yes, Hannah."
I gulped back a wave of nervous nausea.
Alex smirked like a hyena and said, "I guess you'd better start packing."
