Derek turned around to look at his fiancee. He swallowed seeing her. He became a little more scared then he was before. He took a deep breath and then turned around to look at his two friends, "Okay here's the deal, " Derek started in a whisper, "Go out to the car and stay there until Kate gets here. When she gets here one of you come back in and just yell from the front door of the mansion anything!"

Martin looked at him very confused, "What are you going to do?"

"Stay here and try to get final closure with her."

Martin looked at him like he was crazy, "Are you nuts?! You are going to die for real this time!" He whispered back to him.

Derek looked at him, "Listen when I leave here tonight, I want to leave with no strings attached anymore. I want to be able to go to the tuxedo store in the morning cancel our tux placements, see Kate for a bit, and then call off the entire wedding with the wedding planner!"

Martin shook his head, "Alright if you say so," He gave his best friend a look of worry.

Grace looked at him, "I think it would be better if you would come to the car with us."

"Grace No!" Derek whispered to her, "I have to do this. Now the both of you just go to the car!" He told them.

Grace and Martin looked at him with worry as they were running out of the mansion to the car.

Derek turned back around to find Victoria still standing on the steps with her arms crossed giving him the dirtiest look that a woman could ever give a man.

She was leaning on the back wall behind her. Victoria looked at him, "I cannot believe you embarrassed me in front of our friends!" She started on him.

Derek looked at her, "Our friends? Do you mean your friends, cause I didn't see a damn person in the room that I knew tonight?"

"That's not true your friend Martin and that bitch of his was here, she wasn't invited. She just invited herself."

"Martin invited her and I wanted her here because I like her much better than you most of the time."

Victoria scoffed and then began to make her way down the stairs, "I can't believe you! I'm the only woman that you should lay eyes on and talk to and take care of and touch and as I said earlier I ban you from talking to any other woman! Who was on the phone with you earlier?!"

"A good friend of mine, who is a girl named Kate. I had coffee with her this morning before tuxedo fittings," Derek just let that slip out of his mouth.

Things just got quiet between the two for a moment. Victoria grabbed him by the collar of his white shirt, "You what?" She started through gritted teeth.

Derel began to stutter, "I-I-I had coffee with another woman this morning before t-t-tuxedo fittings," He responded to her.

Victoria looked at him with horror, "Who is she?! Was she the woman from the tuxedo store who was fixing your fucking tie when I should have been!"

Derek's eyes got wide and he swallowed a gulp of air, "I can't tell you because I'm afraid you will do to her all the shit that you're doing to me!"

Victoria shoved him to the floor and then proceeded to leave the room yelling all of the way there, "MY FATHER WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS! HE HATES YOU ALREADY! I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU DEREK LITERALLY THREE MONTHS BEFORE OUR WEDDING TOO! YOU ARE MINE DEREK HARTMAN AND I AM DETERMINED THAT YOU WILL MARRY ME BECAUSE YOU LOVE ME!!!" Victoria screamed and she ripped her father's rifle off the wall tht was above the fireplace.

She then went into the garage still rambling on.

Derek stood in the room. He started breathing heavily. He then proceeded to run back upstairs to where he had woken up earlier. He started to go through drawers to see if he could find his phone and his wallet and his car keys.

He started opening drawers and throwing things out. Things such as all of Victoria's clothing. He panties, he skirts, he undergarments, all of her shirts and bathing suits but he couldn't find any of his items.

"WHERE IS HE?" He heard come from the downstairs area of the house.

Victoria's father opened the door, "What's going on here?" He asked.

Derek ran to the doorway of the bedroom, "I'm not exactly sure, but your daughter has completely lost her mind."

"She has not! Get out of my house! After all the things you said about-" There was sudden gunfire that came from downstairs.

Derek then shoved Victoria's father back into his bedroom.

He then took off in another direction of the house. He opened a door just as Victoria came running up the stairs. It was the attic.

As she was about to jump him while still holding the rifle. Derek slammed the door in her face and locked it. He climbed up into the attic where he found a little passageway that led to the roof. He climbed up it because he heard another shot get fired at the door handle.

He climbed to the roof. He could see everything going on below. Kate had pulled up to the house and Martin was getting out of his car. He watched as Grace also got out of the car. They talked for a moment or so and Martin put both of his arms on the sides of Kates' shoulders.

Derek watched as Martin ran into the house. He panicked and then ran to the chimney. He looked down to make sure there was no raging fire. He also noticed how dark it was. Derek took a deep breath and began to climb it, "Well I'm bound to die at some point."

Derek slid down the chimney and back into the house where he hit the bottom full of logs landing on his backside.

Derek was covered in dirt and sot from the chimney, "MARTIN!" He shouted while limping and running towards his friend.

There was the shout of a woman shrieking coming from the upstairs hallway and then the sound of the gun fired again.

Derek and Martin both stopped in their tracks. Derek and Martin grabbed one another's shoulders. Looking at one another hoping for dear life.

Derek looked at Martin, "Get out and save you and the girls," He whispered.
