Derek was sent out of the hospital anyway. He begged and begged to stay so he didn't have to get into a car with Victoria.

His ride home consisted of him in the backseat of the car with two different buckles. He kept quiet because he was afraid that if he said something else Victoria was going to put him through more hell.

When they got back to her father's mansion Victoria's father stood in the doorway shaking his head.

They got Derek out of the car and into the mansion. His side still hurt as he walked into the house. He didn't even fight with her this time.

They sat him down on the couch and Victoria made sure she sat right on his lap. He let out a yelp because it hurt him. The side where he had gotten shot and the side of his head.

Victoria looked at him, "So our wedding was moved up to tomorrow. I figured I would give you twenty-four hours before we got married. The nurse said that you would be fine by tomorrow."

Derek looked at her and swallowed, "I have to go to work tomorrow and I look like this because of you! I already told you, I don't want to marry you!" He started now shoving her off of him, "How many different ways do I have to say that!" He dumped Victoria off of him and to the floor.

"Your only saying that to hurt me! I know you love me!" Victoria shouted at him as she got up off the couch, "By the way your job already gave you the time off! I called because we're also honeymooning in Florida after the wedding tomorrow!"

Derek turned around and looked at her, "Florida? Are you for real? No! Twenty-four hours to plan a wedding? Victoria how many different ways again do I have to say it, please give me the ring back so I can leave and go find my friends! Speaking of what did you do with them?"

Victoria got really angry, she crossed her arms, and looked at him with disgust, "They were all taken care of last night after you fell asleep."

"After I fell asleep?! You shot me!" Derek yelled at her, "Give me the god damn ring and my phone, wallet, and car keys so I can leave! Where are they?!" Derek shouted at her again.

Victoria got even madder he stomped to him and smashed his foot, "No!" she shouted back at him, "You're marrying me tomorrow and you are never going to see your friends ever again! DADDDY!" She screamed across the house and marched out of the room.

Derek sat back down on the couch and grabbed his foot. He then got up off the couch and started limping across the house. He went upstairs and closed the door to the room that Victoria had locked him in before. He turned around to go to the phone and found that it was gone, "Where the fuck did the phone go?" He whispered to himself.

"Looking for something?"

Derek turned around and found the phone in Victoria's hand. His shoulder's dropped.

Derek spent the rest of the afternoon trapped with Victoria and her father. They had people coming over and things being delivered for after the wedding.

At dinner that night her father sat at the other end of the table staring Derek down. There were many people already there for the wedding.

Her father was not pleased after Derek demanded that he had given the ring back. He was surprised that he didn't figure out that it was his own daughter doing all of this to him, he was hoping her father would back him up and tell Victoria to let him go. Then again that wasn't going to happen because Victoria was his daughter.

The bride and the groom were separated that night. It was a beautiful thing in Derek's opinion. As he laid in his bed in the room by himself thankfully he thought himself up a plan on how he was going to get out of this tomorrow and rescue his friends.

The next morning one of the groomsmen had come in to get Derek up. The minute the door opened Derek began to run out of the room. As he did the groomsmen close lined him with his arm, "Oh no buddy, your getting married today whether you like it or not, by the way, the makeup artist is coming in to cover up some of your face to make it not look as bad."

Derek rolled his eyes and sighed, "Is my best man here?"

"I'm your best man, Victoria told me this morning," replied the groomsmen.

Derek looked at him, "No your not, my best friend Martin Landers is my best man," Derek told him once again.

The groomsman laughed, "funny, he's not in the wedding party. Both Victoria and her father agreed that he was out of the wedding party because of his arrest . . .  now let's get you dressed."

Derek was dressed and saw the make up artist. They him out the door and on his way to the church he fought it the entire was there. He didn't want to get married.

The wedding planner showed up at the back up the church when he got there. He grabbed the woman, "How did you manage to move the wedding date up?"

"We had a woman get canceled so when she called us to ask if there was anything earlier, we gave it to her," The wedding planner responded.

Derek put his hands to his face and looked at the ceiling, "No!" He started yelling.

The wedding planner looked at him, "What's the matter, Mr. Hartman?"

"I don't want to marry this woman, she's crazy!" He started.

"No, she's not, she's absolutely sweet," the wedding planner told him.

Derek laughed a little and then rubbed a hand against the side of his face, "You see these stitches and these bruises, yeah she did that!" Derek then ripped open the front of his tuxedo, "You see this patch, she shot me with her father's rifle last night!"

The wedding planner looked at him, "Is this true?"

"Yes!" He responded.

People started filing into the church. After a while, everything was ready to go. Derek and the wedding planner were still in the back corner of the church where no one could really see them.

There was a limo outside. Derek looked at the wedding planner, "May I borrow your car?" He asked, "May I also borrow your cell phone?"

The wedding planner looked at him funny, "You're not ditching your own wedding are you?" she asked.

Derek smirked, "I am, I can't do this. Especially with someone who has caused me physical and mental pain in three to five days flat!"

The wedding planner took out her phone and handed it to him. She then grabbed her car keys out of her pocket and gave them to him, "I can't believe I just ruined somebody's wedding," The wedding planner whispered and closed her binder full of paperwork.

"You didn't ruin it for me, maybe my ex-fiance but not for me. I'll keep in touch, I have my eye on someone much better in my future."

As Victoria got out of the car that she was and started her making her way up the stairs to the church Derek was fleeing the church and running out to the parking lot to get to the wedding planners car.

He got in and the first place he was heading to was the police station. He was also making a phone call to report his ex-fiancee for all the hell she had put him through.
