Daddy Issues

I decided to go hang out with Caroline but I was meeting her at the grill. I saw her and Matt talking so I left them alone and he walked my direction. Hey Matt I said. Hey Amel he said walking back into work.

You okay Care? I asked. Yeah. Let's just go hang out. We walked to her car and we sensed someone was behind us. It's Jules. Excuse me, Caroline and Amelia, right? Said Jules.

Yeah. I said. I'm looking for Tyler. You haven't seen him, have you? Jules said. No, not since earlier. Sorry. Caroline said. Caroline opens her car door and moves to get in as I walked over to the passenger seat

I know you're lying. Jules said. Really? How? Is that one of your little wolf tricks? I said, Grabbing a wolvesbane dart. Actually, it is. She said. Well, I have a trick too. Caroline said.

She vamps out and turns around, but Jules sprays her with a vervain spray. Caroline is hurt, heals and turns around again, but Brady is standing in front of her and shoots her point blank in the head. Caroline drops to the ground. Amelia threw a wolvesbane dart at the guy and he dropped but Jules knocked out Amelia.

Amelia wakes up in a cage in Brady's RV. She sees Caroline has a bullet entry wound on her forehead. She screams a little She tries to unlock the cage, to get out and help Caroline but sees Brady and stops.

That dart was nasty. But we got alot of wooden bullets, other toys. It's gonna be a long night, sweet pea. He shoots her in the leg. She screams.

Stefan's phone rings. The caller ID says Amelia. He picks up. Hey. Is everything okay? Stefan says. That depends. How badly do you want to keep them alive? I've got both Amelia and Caroline here. Said Jules. Who is this? Stefan said getting pissed.

Ask your brother. Where's Tyler? Jules said. Jules? Where's Amelia and Caroline? Said Stefan. You made a mistake, Stefan. I'm gonna give you a chance to fix it. Said Jules.

Where are they? Said Stefan. Right here. Want proof? Said Jules. Jules goes into the RV where Amelia, Caroline and Brady are. He needs proof. Jules said. He shoots Amelia in the arm and she screams and then shoots Caroline in the chest and she screams. Stefan hears them screaming.

What's happening? Tyler said. Hurt them again and you're dead. Stefan said. I hurt them again, and they are both dead. Bring Tyler to me, the clearing by Wickery Falls. You have 20 minutes until they both die. Jules said. She hangs up.

Amelia and Caroline are still in the cage. Amelia is in pain crying.

So, How many vampires are there in this town anyway? He said to Caroline She doesn't answer, so he shoots her with a squirt gun filled with vervain. She screams. No? The guy, Brady said. Caroline kicks at the bars. Why are you doing this to me?! To her!? She's human!? Why are you doing this? Why? She said.

You're a vampire and she's a hunter. Why not? He uses a blowgun to shoot wooden darts in Amelia's neck. She screams. I'm sorry, what was that? He said. Let us out! I yelled. Excuse me? What was that? She kicks and screams and Caroline joins in.

Let us out! Said Caroline and Amelia. Brady leaves to join Jules outside.

Jules is alone. Suddenly she hears something. I know you're out there. Jules said. Stefan goes out of the woods with Tyler. Where's Amelia and Caroline? He said. Locked up tight. She replied.

Let her go, and I'll release Tyler. It doesn't have to get any messier than it already has. I'm not your enemy, Jules. Stefan said. It's a little late to be waving the white flag, don't you think? Jules said.

You need to leave town. No one else has to get hurt. Stefan said. I'm not leaving without Tyler. Jules said. Tyler is free to make his own decisions, as soon as you release Amelia and Caroline. Said Stefan.

Damon arrives. My brother the peacemaker. Since Stefan got here before me I'm gonna let him try it his way before I resort to my way, which is a little bloodier. So give us Amelia and Caroline. Said Damon.

Let go of Tyler. Jules said. Give us Amelia and Caroline. Without a full moon it's not an even fight and you know it. We will take you. Said Damon. I'm not so sure about that, tough guy. She said.

She whistles, and the rest of her pack walks out of their hiding places, all holding weapons including stakes, cross-bows, and a flame-thrower.

Let's try this again. Give us Tyler. Jules said. Damon looks at Tyler. You heard her. Go. Get over there. Damon said. Tyler walks over to Jules. Which one of you killed Mason? Brady said. Uh, that'd be me. Damon said.

Boys, make sure that one suffers. Said Brady pointing to Damon. Damon looks at Stefan. We can take them. Said Damon. I don't know about that. Stefan said. Well then... Damon said.

He rushes over Jules, but she flips onto the top of the RV. Tyler has gone inside. One of the werewolves tries to burn Stefan, but he takes the flamethrower from him and burns two werewolves with it. One of the werewolves tries to jump from the RV roof on Damon, but he rips his heart out mid-air.

Inside the RV, Tyler sees Caroline and Amelia in the cage. Tyler, there's a latch on the door and I can't get to it. Get Amelia first though. Caroline said.

He gets Amelia out and carries her bridal style since she is weak. But for Caroline he hesitates. Tyler? Caroline said. Outside, Stefan kills a werewolf. Another uses a crossbow to fire a stake at him but he catches it.

Tyler, please! Tyler? Caroline said. He finally walks toward the cage holding Amelia and opens it for her. Stefan fights with one of the werewolves and drive his stake through his body. Another shoots an arrow at him, but he catches it and throws it in his neck. The werewolf falls on the ground. Another goes behind Stefan and drives a stake through his back. Stefan falls on the ground. Damon fights with Brady, but Jules arrives and shoots him with a wooden bullet. He falls on the ground.

Tyler opens the cage so Caroline can leave, but Jules grabs her, pushes her face-first against the RV and puts a gun to her back. Tyler sees Caroline being held at gunpoint, but he doesn't do anything. Brady grabs a stake and is about to kill Damon, but suddenly, all of the werewolves except Tyler begin to scream in pain. They all cover their ears with their hands and fall to their knees.

What's happening? Caroline said. What the hell is going on? Tyler said. Jonas Martin appears. He's walking with his hands held out while he's casting a spell on the werewolves. Damon and Stefan get up off the ground. Stefan ran over to Tyler and grabbed Amelia and held her bridal style.

Elijah made a promise to Elena. I'm here to see it's upheld. You need to go. Get out of here. Now. Jonas said. They leave. Jonas look at Tyler.

When your friends awaken, give them a message: They need to get the hell out of this town. He said as he left.

Stefan took Amelia home and helped her with the bullets and gave her blood.

So is your dad home? Said Stefan. No, he's at Jenna's. I think. I said. I can stay, if you want me to. Stefan said. I'm fine, Stefan. I said. You don't have to pretend with me. Anybody would be upset after what you went through tonight. Stefan said.

I'm okay. I'm not weak little Amelia anymore. I can handle myself. I said. Sure you can. Stefan said. I just really want to go shower so... I said. Okay. He replied. Good night. I said and he replied, Good night. He soon left.

Stefan knocks on the door. Amelia opens it, dressed in her bathrobe. She looks completely healed of her wounds.

Hey. I said and he replied, Hey! What's going on? I said. I was a bit worried about you, after everything you and Caroline went through tonight. He said. I'm fine. I said. Good. But, just in case, I brought some back up. Stefan said. Elena, Caroline, and Bonnie appear behind him.

We're gonna slumber it! Elena said and Bonnie said, We haven't done it in ages. Amelia cries. The girls all hug each other. Amelia looks at Stefan, and mouths "thank you" to him. He mouths "your welcome" back to her, and walks away.
