Meliodas flew around the borders, surveying them with a sharp eye. He was about to head back when he saw someone sneaking around in the underbrush. He dropped down into the trees and watched from there.
There stood Zeldris with a woman. "It's been a while," the woman said softly. Zeldris smiled kindly at her.
"Indeed it has," Zeldris replied. "Gelda..." Meliodas raised a brow. Zeldris kissed her forehead. Meliodas wanted to go down and separate them but didn't. (A/N: leave room for Jesus y'all)
Meliodas continued to watch them until Gelda left. Finally Meliodas decided to reveal himself.
"So you got a lover now?"
Zeldris jumped a meter into the air in shock. "B-Brother!? What are you doing here?" Zeldris stuttered.
"I was doing rounds."
"H-How long have you been here?"
"I saw the whole thing."
Zeldris looked terrified. Meliodas kept from the tree and wore a calm expression.
"Please don't tell father!" Zeldris pleaded. Meliodas closed, looking like he disagreed.
"Why would I tell that old shitbag?" Meliodas grumbled. Zeldris sighed in relief.
"So... How far has your relationship gone?"
"MELIODAS!"
