"WAKE UP YOU ARE LATE TO YOUR FIRST DAY OF UNIVERSITY."

Is the first sentence I hear. I open my eyes and then close them. Then I open my eyes wide again when I realize...it's 8 AM already and I will be late. My first class starts at 9:25 but it takes 30 minutes to get to the building.

I quickly get up and rush to the bathroom and I look in the mirror and just rush. I don't even take a shower because I don't have time. In the mirror I can see Liam, my younger brother, laughing.

"Mom is going to kill you if you are late." He says

"Okay...mom is going to kill YOU if you-"

"If I don't what? I don't start school till the 12th of August. So mom won't kill me. Now get out of the house already. Ever since you graduated, you have done nothing but sleep, eat, and watch Netflix."

I run off back to my room and get changed. I don't dress to impress. I put on a red shirt, jeans, and my Nikes. I grab my backpack and grab my schedule. I run down the stairs and as I head towards the door I hear a loud whistle.

"Madison! Don't forget your lunch I packed for you sweetie!"

I turn around and see Liam rushing towards me with a baby blue small lunch bag. "Oh! You shouldn't have mom!" I play along with his little game.

"Now, off you go sweetie."

I laugh, "I hate you so much. I hope you know that you dickhead." I open the door and off I go.

"Bye sweetie! Have a good first day of university!" He yells at the top of his lungs.

And now my new journey begins. I get in my small, old car and get on the road. My plan was to walk to the university but I didn't wake up early enough to do that.

"Oh my god...." I sigh because I hate that the iPhone always must auto fill 'omw' to 'On my way!'. Like no I am not excited. I sit my phone down and keep my eyes on the road. I pull up to the university and park my car, which I'm not even sure if i am allowed to do but i do it anyways. I text her back saying I am here. And she tells me to go to the main building of the university.

Great! I have no clue on where I should go!!

I look at the map on the website. And people stare at me maybe because I look like a meerkat with my head sticking up and down.

Me: Ugh. Maya just send me your location. I am literally lost like I have no idea where I should go!

Best Friend🥊❣️: OKAY BUT GET HERE ALREADY

After she sends me her location I managed to get to the building. I walk in and there is a bunch of students. I walk up to Maya.

"YOU BITCH!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU!"

"Hi Maya! Oh yes, thank god I got here safely!"
