A Week After the Surprise Attack:
Tuesday: A Dark Hotel Room, 11 PM, Baekhyun's POV:
- You had taken all the necessary precautions before sneaking over the border and into the town next to the comically small castle that Jin and Namjoon lived in. Nobody had seen you, and one of your agents had gotten this room for you before you arrived. It was time that you introduced him to your other spy, so that maybe the two of them could work together instead of attacking each other without knowing it.
- He was standing by the hotel room door, but you weren't really paying attention. You were sitting in a chair by the window, looking outside and filing your nails, hoping you could catch a glimpse of your other agent when he arrived. Then you would have a reason to scold him.
- Only one light was on in the room, so it was very dim. This was to prevent any prying eyes outside from accidentally spotting you if they happened to glance upwards. "You really shouldn't be next to a window," your agent said from by the door.
- You waved a hand at him and continued scanning the street. He was so tall it made you feel like a child. Well, everyone made you feel that way, even your baby brother was a good 3 inches taller than you. But this particular agent was just as tall as Hunnie.
- To your annoyance, there was a soft knock on the door. Your other agent must have managed to slip in without you seeing him. You might just scold him anyway. "Let him in," you said sharply, turning away from the window and crossing your legs.
- You held your sharp, metal nail file in one hand as light spilled in from the hallway, silhouetting a person around Taehyung's height before they took a quick step inside.
- The tall one shut the door, and the newcomer asked quietly, "What did you want to speak to me about, Lord Baekhyun?"
- His high voice and provincial accent always annoyed you, and he was such an idiot sometimes! Clearly, he hadn't realized who the third person was yet. However...
- "You?!" the tall one asked, amusement mixed with shock as he took a step closer to the newcomer. You just looked at them, waiting to see what would happen. Maybe they would get in a fight, that would be entertaining.
- "What are you doing here?" the shorter one asked, stepping away and pressing his back against the wall. He really was no good at physical confrontation, there was a reason you had him use chloroform.
- The taller one took another step towards him, chuckling softly and said, "So, you're who did it! No wonder you used that amateur shit. If he ever finds out, he's going to kill you. Not to mention what Jae-"
- "I did call you both here for a reason, you know," you interrupted, tapping your nail file on the wooden armrest. They both looked over at you and then snapped to attention.
- "I need all the information you have on Namjoon's plans for dealing with his uncle, a thorough list of Jaehwan's weaknesses that I can use for leverage, and a bottle of Jin's tonic, as well as instructions on how to use it."
- "Namjoon thinks the situation with his uncle is nothing, just an inconvenience. Really, all he's planning is to go home and try to talk him out of it," the tall one replied.
- "And Jaehwan has exactly two things he cares about, Jin and Jaebum. You already have one, and the other is slowly starting to hate him because he thinks Jaehwan left him," the shorter one replied with a little laugh.
- You grinned, but then you noticed the taller one shift a little on his feet. "As for the tonic and instructions, I can get that for you easily. Why, is King Jin sick again?" the shorter one continued.
