Chapter Thirteen

Monday, Your Office, 8 am, Jin's POV:

- It had been three days since Namjoon had stormed out of the castle to go deal with his uncle. You hadn't heard from him, or anyone for that matter! Jaehwan and Jaebum hadn't come back Kai's party, and they should have gotten home yesterday! Where was everyone!?

- You were trying to keep Hoseok and Chanyeol entertained, or as happy as you could manage. They were both understandably depressed about the turn their family had taken, and you felt awful for them. Tae and Jungkook were being very helpful with that, though.

- Yoonsun had started crawling yesterday, and the fact that Monie wasn't here to see it made your heart hurt. It was such a big milestone, and you couldn't believe he had missed it! But it couldn't be helped. He was off doing what he had too, and you had to stay and manage your kingdom alone.

- "Jinnie, I think someone's here," Taehyung exclaimed from where he was standing by your office window.

- "Who?" you asked, picking up Yoonsun and following him down to the entry hall.

- "The guards are escorting someone in a hood, but I couldn't tell who it was," Taehyung called over his shoulder as he jogged outside.

- Two seconds later, he shrieked and took off at a full sprint, catching the unidentified person in an enormous hug. Their hood fell back, and you saw that it was Jimin!

- He looked exhausted and travel worn, but uninjured, and that was what mattered. "Chimmie! You're ok! We have all been so worried! What happened!?" you exclaimed, holding Yoonsun tighter and jogging over to them.

- "They locked me up! Hobi's uncle had the city closed off, and soldiers were going door to door and they caught me before I had time to hide. I managed to escape two days ago and made my way back on foot, but it wasn't what I was expecting to happen!"

- "He exiled Hobi and Channie, they are here now, but Monie ran off to go try and kill his uncle, and Yoongi is with my guards at Kai's, and they should have been back yesterday!" you replied, quickly filling him in on everything you knew, which wasn't very much.

- "Oh shit, he went home?!" Jimin exclaimed, releasing Taehyung and giving you an incredulous look.

- "Yes! I couldn't stop him, and I was the only one who even tried! Hobi and Channie were no help!" you replied, pulling him back towards the castle. You hadn't even noticed Ravi standing behind you until you turned around, but he had been following you everywhere nonstop, so you weren't too surprised.

- The four of you hastily made your way back inside and up to the library where Jungkook, Hoseok, and Chanyeol were.

Time skip: Tuesday, The Castle Entrance, 10 am, Namjoon's POV:

- Well, you had taken care of it. After dispatching your uncle, you had walked out of his office and straight to the throne room. Once there, you had ignored the incredulous looks on his advisors faces as you ordered their arrest for treason. It had to be done, and your swift action had restored balance to your city.

- You loved your uncle, despite his treachery, so killing him hadn't been enjoyable. After getting everything back in order and your city had calmed down, you and Jackson had made the return journey to the little palace.

- You and Jackson had just ridden down the gavel path of the little castle when Jin and Yoongi ran outside, looking alarmed and furious, respectively.

- "What happened?! Is Yoonsun ok?" you asked, jumping down off your horse and catching your husband in your arms. He was talking so fast that you couldn't understand a word he said!
