"Liane, get up!" Ashlyn shakes her roughly, trying to get her up.

"What do you want?" She grumbles while pushing her away.

"Ashton's gonna be here to pick me up in ten minutes. D'ya want to meet him?" Liane lets out a sigh and slides off her bed.

She quickly gets dressed in her outfit for the day and fixes up her hair. When she goes to cover up her cuts, Ashlyn stops her. "Don't you think you should tell him today?" She suggests softly.

"Ash ... I - "

"Liane, I know it'll be hard, but he deserves to know," Ashlyn whispers as someone knocks on the door to the dorm. "That's Ashton." She pushes herself off the floor where she was knelt next to Liane and makes her way to the door.

Liane purses her lips and puts the foundation back in her make-up bag and shoves it away from her before standing and following Ashlyn to the door. "Hi," she smiles politely at the hazel eyed and haired boy in the door way who instantly grins at her.

"Hey," he stuffs his hands in his pockets and shifts his gaze back to Ashlyn.

"You two have fun," Liane nods towards the door and Ashlyn smiles shyly before following Ashton out. She makes her way to the bathroom so she could fix her hair before Michael got there.

"Hello?" She says into the microphone of her phone after picking it up once it had started to ring.

"Hi!" Michael chirps into the phone.

"Hey, Mikey," she smiles, putting her phone on speaker phone and continuing to flat iron her hair.

"Okay, so I found a show playing in about forty minutes. Is that okay?" He asks unsurely.

"Yeah, of course, babe. When are you coming?" She winces slightly when she accidently burns herself.

"I was about to leave now, is that okay?" Liane chuckles quietly while putting away her flat iron.

"You don't need to ask if everything is okay with me, Mikey."

"I know, I just want to make sure you're okay with everything," he mumbles shyly.

"Aw, you're like a little boy with a crush." Liane can hear the ignition of his car from the speaker of her phone.

"I am a little boy with a crush, for your information," he sassily replies.

"You're almost nineteen, Mikey," she giggles, laying face-up on her bed.

"Fine, I'm a big boy with a crush," he declares making Liane roll her eyes.

"Who ya crushin' on?" She asks teasingly.

"There's this girl, and she's pretty annoying, and bossy, and a little -"

"Stop talking before your mouth gets you in trouble," she scolds playfully.

"No," he whines while laughing, "you didn't let me finish."

"I don't think I want to let you finish," she giggles, covering her mouth.

"I just pulled up, I'll be right there in a minute."

"No, that's fine; I'll come out," she offers.

"Don't you dare, I'm coming in to get you. Bye," he sings before hanging up.

As promised, a few minutes later Michael walks in the dorm with a large grin on his face. "You should really lock this," he advises, wrapping Liane's body in a hug.

"You called and that distracted me," she laughs into his chest, wrapping her arms around his torso.

"Come on, let's go before the movie starts." Liane grins before grabbing her phone and following him out of the dorm. When she lifts her hand to move her hair out of her face, she catches sight of the cuts and immediately brings her arm down, not wanting Michael to see them. "Are you okay?" He asks, looking down at her as they both exit the building.

"Yeah I'm fine," she smiles unsurely. Michael nods, opening the passenger door for her and lightly pressing his lips to her cheek before gently closing the door. She smiles and leans against the seat, clutching her stomach with the scarred arm to cover it.

"Does your stomach hurt?" He asks halfway through the drive to the cinema.

"What? Oh, no, I'm fine," she lets go of her stomach, but still keeps it turned so the cuts aren't visible.

...

By the time they leave the cinema, Liane's arm is sore from all of the twisting she had done for the past few hours. "Do you want to come to my flat?" Michael asks once he slides into the driver's seat.

"Sure," she smiles, fiddling with the radio.

"Babe, are you sure you're okay? You're shaking," Michael questions once again, glancing over at her quickly.

"Mikey, I'm positive, I'm okay," she lies. She knew she wasn't okay, she was mentally flipping shit. Michael was gonna think she was some emo freak if he saw them.

"If you say so," he murmurs, picking up her hand - thankfully her right one - and intertwines their fingers. He obviously didn't buy her 'I'm fine' card.

When the get to his flat, Liane quickly makes her way to the door while Michael trails behind her. "Do you know if Calum's here? I have to ask him something," she asks quietly, waiting as he unlocks the door and pushes it open.

"Uh, I think so. Everything okay?" He questions, glancing over at the blonde.

"Yeah, it's a ... girl he likes, that I know," she quickly comes up with before making her way to Calum's room. She hesitantly knocks on the door, just barely opening it. "Calum?" She whispers, grabbing the dark-haired boy's attention, who immediately smiles.

"Hey!" He chirps cheerfully, standing from his bed. "What's up?"

"Ashlyn wouldn't let me cover up my cuts this morning and I'm freaking out. What if Michael sees them and thinks I'm a complete freak?" She groans, letting her body fall onto his bed.

"He's not gonna think you're a complete freak, he's head over heels in love with you," he chuckles while taking a seat next to her laid out body.

"I wouldn't say he's in love with me," she shakes her head, "we only started talking, like, five months ago. And we just met like a week ago."

"Eh, I think you could fall in love in five months," he shrugs.

"We're getting away from the subject I came in her for," she laughs quietly, turning her head to look at him.

"There's only one thing to say: tell him. If he finds them on his own, he's gonna get mad. Especially if he finds out Ashlyn and I know too, that'll just make things worse." Liane sighs, knowing he's right. "Go." He tugs on her hand, but she whines, taking it out of his grip.

"Now?" She pouts.

"Yes, now. Come on." She sighs in defeat, letting Calum drag her out of the room.
