"Are you sure you're alright?" Ashlyn murmurs from the bathroom door while Liane [angrily] flat irons her hair.

"I'm fine, Ashlyn, can you stop asking please?" She snaps, not meeting her eyes.

"I'm sorry, just checking," she shrugs, leaving the bathroom. Liane felt guilty for snapping at Ashlyn, since all of this wasn't her fault, but she didn't apologize.

Throughout the entire class time, Liane stayed silent with a blank expression. Her friend, Jess, tried to get her to figure out what was wrong but Liane just kept shaking her head, silently telling her she didn't want to talk about it. Once the class - thankfully, her only class for the day - is over, she quickly scrambles out of the room after nodding when Jess said she would text her.

When she gets to her dorm, she quickly grabs her phone from her nightstand - she had to leave it in the dorm because the calls and texts were endless - and crawls all the way under her comforter, just wanting to be alone and cry. "Liane, are you in here?" Ashlyn calls softly after entering the dorm. She gently pulls back her comforter and sees her best friend with headphones and tear stained cheeks. "Liane," she murmurs, crawling on the bed next to her.

"What?" She asks harshly but shakily, pulling out one of headphones.

"Please don't try and push me away, Li, you need a friend." Liane bites her lip at more tears escape through her eyes, burying her face in her best friend's neck. "Just tell me how you feel," she suggests softly, wrapping an arm around the girl shaking with sobs.

"I don't - I don't get it, why would he ..." she trails, not wanting to continue talking, especially about Michael.

"If it makes you feel any better, I cursed Elena out," Ashlyn shrugs with a quiet laugh. "I can't believe she would do that with him, that's not like her," she huffs.

"Can we please not talk about it?" Liane whimpers, wiping at the tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Yeah, of course. Sorry."

"No, I'm sorry for being a bitch this morning," she apologizes quietly.

"It's fine, I completely understand." Ashlyn shrugs. "We should do something to take your mind off things," she suggests.

...

"Mikey, you've gotta eat," Calum murmurs from Michael's bedroom door, holding a plate with two slices of pizza.

"I don't deserve to eat, I cheated on Liane," he mumbles into his pillow.

"You didn't cheat on her, Elena forced herself onto you," Calum reasons, moving towards his best friend with the plate.

"Same difference," he mutters.

"You can't keep beating yourself up about this." Calum sets the plate down on the nightstand next to Michael's bed before sitting next to him.

"Did you see the look on her face, Cal?" He croaks, still not looking up from his pillow. "It was like getting stabbed in the chest over and over."

"You have to let it go," Calum whispers.

"I'm not going to fucking let it go, Calum, it's only been like, three days," Michael snaps harshly, instantly feeling guilty. "Fuck, sorry," he sighs.

"It's alright, I get it," Calum shrugs.
