Can has always been an advocate for reading. He believes in the power of words and loves the strength of letters. The idea of multiple letters put together can seamlessly blend into words and the importance of them. He loves the notion that a word read can have an entirely different interpretation from when spoken. So what does it all mean? Why now? He's a superstitious person but not like this. This is too far fetched even for him. Can Leyla be the key to finding her?

He knew Leyla left the company soon after she did. Emre's last betrayal shattered her hopes, dreams, and ability to trust. Can heard she was a force to be reckoned with, going head to head with his mother before walking out of the agency's doors for the last time. Emre never stopped her. Perhaps Emre knew he wasn't worthy of her forgiveness.

Speaking of Emre, Can can't help but think of his younger brother. As angry as he was to find out about his brother's betrayal, Emre did the one thing Can never expected: he signed over not only his share but also the shares his mother had bequeathed him. Can alone has the majority of Fikri Harika's shares. It was enough to throw Fabri and Aylin out of his father's agency and their lives forever.

As for Emre, he quietly apologized for his part and left for Switzerland, dragging their mother along with him. They still talk from time to time as you would with a distant family member. In the past four years, Emre had gone back to Istanbul once. He solemnly came home for their father's funeral.

Can remembers staring into the garden after the funeral and getting a whiff of something familiar. He will never forget that smell. If he could, he would find every single stalk of that specific wildflower and savor it for the rest of his life. Just like her.  As he closed his eyes, he can feel the breeze and the ghost of her fingers clutching his arm, soothing him as she always did. It transported him back to a time when he could still breathe. He was happy once upon a time and it was all because of her. He tried to hold on to his happy thoughts for as long as he can. When he opened his eyes, he felt the cold grip of reality. He was all alone.

For years, he tried his best to recapture some sense of normalcy. He threw himself into his work as best he could but deep in his heart, he knew it was futile. He can't replace the sunshine she brought into everyone's lives. She is just irreplaceable.

As he stares at the clock, he starts to fidget as he feels the adrenaline pumping through his veins once again. After today, everything will change. He can feel it down to the very core of his being. As he walks to the conference room, the question remains: is it for better or worse?

Osman walks through the halls of Fikri Harika with one goal: to ask for his help. Years ago, he would cringe at the thought, but time changes everyone. Osman is out of options. He never thought he would be in this position, but he cannot and will not let Leyla down. The love of his life is beside herself with worry and anxiety. If he needs to beg, he will do so. However, he knows Can will move heaven and earth to help him.

Osman's inner musing is interrupted as he sees his brother in law running like the crazy, adorable maniac he is. Oh, CeyCey. He looks down at his watch and realizes he's almost 5 minutes late to his appointment. He can still remember Leyla's words: "If there's anyone who can find her, it's him."

Against his better judgment, he knows the truth in Leyla's conviction. Deep in his heart, Osman knows Can will succeed where they failed.

He sees Can sitting in the conference room playing with something in his pocket while speaking with Metin. For the first time in a long time, he takes a good look at Can Divit. Gone was the charismatic God-like man she fell desperately in love with. In its place stands a man weighed down by guilt and regret. Osman knows her disappearance affected him the most. Even more than her parents. He had his part in her departure from Istanbul. Osman hopes she will forgive him. After all, he promised her his silence. With that in mind, he opens the conference door.
