Can laid in bed next to his son. On one hand, he can't believe he left his wife there in the kitchen all by herself and on the other, he just couldn't face her. He knows there will repercussions and he's already on edge with everything he learned today.

Orion's interruption was a godsend. Their frenzied fight woke their son up and Can just couldn't let him see his mother in a compromised position. As soon as he heard the door open, he walked out of that kitchen and never looked back. He's regretting it. He should've said something to her. He should've said anything really. He can't keep doing this to her.

Can will be the first to admit that jealousy was never in his vocabulary. He did what he wanted and learned to live with the consequences afterwards. Confidence just came to him naturally. He never found a reason to doubt his decisions nor wallow in guilt until he met Sanem. All of a sudden, jealousy and apprehension were in the forefront of his subconscious.

Can was already struggling with all the information he was forced to learn in a short period of time when he learned of Vasilis involvement in his family's life.  He had no idea exactly how far Vasilis implanted himself into his family's lives until he spoke with the school's headmaster. Can knew how these types of establishments worked. After all, he was a product of a place like this. He knew how expensive it can be. His wife didn't have to carry the burden alone and as far as he was concerned, she never will again. Not when he's finally where he was supposed to be all along. It's his job to provide for his family after all.

Imagine his surprise when the headmaster questioned his relation to the twins. As far as the school was concerned, Vasilis was their father. After all, he's the one that picks them up and takes them home. What else were they supposed to think? There were no other male influence in the twins lives other than Vasilis so they assumed, he was their father. What was worse was that Sanem never stated otherwise.

Can didn't know what to think anymore. Sanem would never do that to him. She would never lie to him like that. He knows in his heart that the twins are his but that doesn't mean that they belonged to him. If the children viewed Vasilis as their father, where does that leave him?

Can doesn't know how long he's been laying there, playing with his son's hair. He tried to catalog Orion's features into his memory. He might not have enough time to do this in the future. Between the twins, he can see more of himself in his son and not just in looks. Orion tends to keep his feelings closer to his chest rather than on his sleeve like his sister. The headmaster mentioned that while Orion is behind verbally, his intellectual capacity is far greater than a normal three year old. Can suspects it's Orion who inherited his mother's unique gift and the one they really need to worry about in the future.

Can knows that Orion is already asleep but he can't find the will to get off the bed. He's nothing more than a coward. Can knows that once he leaves the children's room, he has to face the music and he doesn't know how to fix the situation he found himself in. His fear had gotten the worst of him and he knew things will just be harder now.

Can left the room as quietly as he can and prayed she wasn't waiting for him in the kitchen. It looked like a tornado landed in the room. There were broken shards and wine stains all throughout the kitchen. As he stepped around the mess they made, he couldn't help but relive what occurred in the same room a little while back.

He did his best to ignore Sanem all night but when he walked into the kitchen and saw her wearing that damn slip, he knew he was in trouble. She was all curves and coupled with the flushed look due to the wine, she was perfection in his eyes. He had to get out of there before he did something incredibly stupid. Can knew she was angry at his nonchalance but he didn't expect her to throw the wine glass at him. He remembered thinking she was spoiling for a fight and he was just in the mood to give it to her.
