Can props his head on one arm and stares at the angel sleeping peacefully next to him. He envies her ability to fall asleep easily. Even after their hectic day, he can't seem to sleep. Not even a round in the sheets with his delectable wife did anything to alleviate his excitement. His brain refuses to shut itself off.

Dinner with his in-laws and Rifat went better than he could imagine. His mother-in-law opened her arms to the lonely groundskeeper and insisted he is present for family dinners. She saw a solitary man, devoid of companionship and showed him kindness. He could see where Sanem gets her warmth from. Mevkibe is the champion for wandering souls. Nihat also accepted the new arrival into their family.

As they were leaving, his father-in-law even invited Rifat to go fishing with him. Of course, he offered his yacht and his time. He'll make sure to drag Emre and Metin as well: Anything to mend this family— his family.

In the stillness of the night, Can hears the floor squeak in the hallway. Not a moment later, he hears one of the doors opening. He contemplates getting up to see which one of his children woke up when he hears the pitter-patter along the wooden floor, followed by the hushed voices of the twins. He closes his eyes and pretends to sleep when he hears the door to the master bedroom open.

Can bites his lower lip to keep his laughter in while he listens to his children whispering next to the bed. He can't make sense as to what they're arguing about until he hears a grunt. He peeks surreptitiously to see Orion attempting to hoist Violet up the king-sized bed. No question about it- his little princess has his little lion wrapped around her finger, just like her mother does. Can quickly raises himself up and takes care of the situation before they wake their mother. He lifts his children onto the foot of the bed.

"What's wrong, bebek?" he asks his daughter. Whatever the issue is, he will move heaven and earth to fix it for his little babies. "Baba go bye-bye. Abi gone too. I find anne." He really should've seen this coming.  The twins had to share the same room their entire lives. It's safe to say his little girl panicked when she woke up from a bad dream about him being gone, only to find her twin gone as well. It's enough to scare anyone, let alone a toddler. Orion pipes in, "Find anne and baba's there." Can can't help but smile. Even at a young age, Orion understands where Sanem is, Baba won't be far behind.

"Would you like to sleep here with us?" He knows it's not a good idea to let the kids sleep with them but he understands Violet's fear. He used to have nightmares about his mother leaving him, only to find out Huma really did. No amount of comfort could ease that kind of pain, even though his baba tried. He doesn't want his children to ever feel any kind of fear. If he has to bend the rules once in a while, so be it. His family will always come first.

Can moves the twins to the middle of the bed, where they'll be more comfortable. Violet burrows herself into his side and latches on to his chest. Orion just crawls over his sister to squeeze himself next to his mother. Sanem's subconscious must know when there's a child near her because she automatically snuggles Orion. Her arm reaches across their son and finds its way into their daughter's arms. Can marvels at the three people sleeping on his bed. He still can't believe he made the two angels sandwiched between him and his wife. His finger traces the rings on his beloved's finger and marvels how perfect it looks on her. Sanem's hand twitches and latches onto his. He smiles and closes his eyes. His last thought before falling into the arms of Morpheus is he's a lucky fellow.

Can feels something poking his nose. He tries to swat the offending thing but laughter wakes him. He opens his eyes to his kids taking turns trying to wake him up.
