She's been telling her legs to move for the past ten minutes but her body won't listen to her head. Whether or not, she's frozen from nervousness or self-preservation remains to be seen. "This is just ridiculous!", she mentally yelled at herself. What has she become?

A good portion of her adulthood was spent walking these doors as if she belonged here. She did belong here up until that day she walked out this building and out of his life. Four years later, she's gathering the courage to walk through the sliding doors like it was her first day of work. "Enough is enough", she whispered to herself and willed her feet to carry her over the threshold of Fikri Harika.

While the interior structure is the same, the staff is not. Gone were the interns and other colleagues she got to know over the years except for the original trio: CeyCey, Guliz, and Deren. Allah had been kind to those three. She'd like to think karma knew that they are good people and deserve the best life had to offer.

As she walked through the corridors leading to the executive offices in the back of the building, she saw CeyCey raise his eyebrows when he saw her through his office windows. Any other time, she would've stopped and chatted with him but she's on a mission. She has to do this before she loses the nerve. She's been in the sidelines for too long and her family needs her. After all, she is her mother's daughter.

It is not in her nature to be a coward but the moment he raised his head from across the room, she wanted to turn around and run for the door as fast as she can given her condition. But she's rooted to the ground and she felt butterflies in her stomach. In the span of five seconds, she saw their past flash through her eyes. The next thing she knew, he was standing right in front of her and the moment her name fell from his lip, she knew she was screwed. All it took was a glimpse of his blue eyes and Leyla Aydin Isik was caught in Emre Divit's spider web all over again.

Her little sister has officially gone off the deep end. When Sanem asked her and Emre out for lunch, Leyla assumed that the younger Aydin did something she couldn't get herself out of.  Sanem was known to get herself into chaotic situations. She didn't think she wanted to jump into marriage! What was she thinking?!

Marriage! For Allah's sake, Sanem's barely a woman. She still has that touch of innocence Leyla wishes she still had. But upon a closer look at her little sister, she realized there was something different about her: her eyes held a secret that she only knew and her mouth curved upwards as if following her train of thought. Right there and then, Leyla knew her little sister had finally transitioned into a woman and she couldn't help but be afraid for Sanem. While her own experience with men is not that extensive, she knew men liked the chase more than anything.

Can is different than most men but in the end, he's still a man and Sanem is hers to protect. Leyla might not act like it at times but there is nothing she wouldn't do to protect her little sister. She can accept that Sanem has lost her virginity to the older Divit but to marry him is another issue. She can't condone this. She won't. Ultimately, it was Emre who changed her mind. "They make each other happy. Isn't that enough?", he said.

Leyla knew she made the right decision the second she volunteered to plan the secret wedding. Any objection she ever had about this particular nuptial was eradicated by Sanem's luminous smile. Emre's right. Can and Sanem deserve to be happy. They will be happy. With that in mind, she went and prepared the secret wedding with Emre's help.

When Sanem asked her to plan the wedding, she envisioned something along the rustic style both her sister and fiance preferred. The outcome was even more than she ever anticipated. In short, it was magical. Leyla herself couldn't believe something so beautiful came out of her imagination.
