Joe's P.O.V.-

"Ya everything is fine. No, I'm in the car going to Waffle House with some friends. Sorry I didn't tell you, it was sorta last minute. Ok. Fine. Bye!" Rydel hung up the phone. "We are here!" I said putting the car in park. Maria got out of the passenger seat and the rest of the girls were glad to get out of the super small backseat. I hold my hand out to Maria and she takes it, swinging my arm back and forth and we smile. We walk inside and get setted.

"I will have the full breakfast plate and a cup of coffee with milk." I told the waiter. "I'll get a plate of chocolate chip waffles with a glass of orange juice please." Maria said. "Can I have some scrambbled eggs with toast and a cappucino?" Rydel asked. "I will get a plate of hash browns." Grace ordered. "I will order the hot fudge sundae please." We all started to stare at Dianne. "A sundae? Really?" asked the waiter. "Yes please!" The waiter just rolled his eyes. All of us are still staring at Dianne. "What? I already had breakfast." I gave the waiter all the menus and he walked away.

...1 hour later...

Dianne takes one last spoonful of her sundae then leans against the back of the booth. Everyone was already finished but we were just waiting for her. "I still can't believe you ate all of that. All by yourself!" Rydel exclaimed. She just shrugged. "Well what do you guys wanna do now?" Grace asked. "We coulď go bowling." I suggested.

"No." Maria said

"Why not?"

"I just went last week!"

"Fine. What about mini golf?"

"No that's to boring." Dianne explained.

"Ugh! Laser tag?"

"Yes! My mom banned us from going because my brothers make it too intense. Last time, we all ended up with brusies." Rydel answered.

"Can we invite Bill? He makes it really fun!"

"Well you got over him quick didn't you Dianne." I said kinda confused. "Yeah, well I feel fine." she responded.

"Fine with us!" Grace says.

......

Rydel's P.O.V.-

We are waiting for Bill at the laser tag place. Maria paid for the game even though Joe wanted to pay, but she insisted because he paid for bresakfast. Then, I realized something. "Hey guys? We ate a lot at breakfast. Wouldn't we get sick playing and running around?" They all take a moment to think about it when Grace finally responds. "If we do then that's too bad," she says shrugging it off and laughing. I give her a 'seriously?' look and she laughs even harder. "Are you one of those hardcore laser tag players?" I ask hoping that she isn't. My brothers were annoying enough with it.

"Well, not to brag or anything, but Maria and I are laser tag champions," Grace replies with a look of pride.

When Maria hears her name she immediately rushes over. "Whatcha guys talkin' bout?"

"Oh, I'm just telling Rydel about how amazing we are at laser tag and that we are champions."

"Yep, we are." and they high-five. I just sit there nodding and giving them a strange look.

"Champions. Champs. Better than everybody." Grace says nodding in return.

"Okay, is Bill here yet?" I ask, breaking the awkward silence.

"Nope," Joe says walking over towards us.

"But, he is on his way. He got a little caught up in traffic," Dianne says while following Joe.

Joe smiles at Maria and she smiles in return. He walks over to her and holds her close while she gives him a light kiss on the cheek. Just then Bill walks in and Dianne rushes over to hug him. They are so adorable, I can't help but smile! The only one not smiling is Grace.

"Grace, are you okay?" I ask.

"Yeah! I'm fine! Just a little bit tired from last night!" I nod, but I don't quite believe her. When nobody is watching she whispers in my ear, "Can we talk about it later?" Oh no. What's going on? I hope that she isn't jealous or anything, but I nod anyways.
