Mrs. Yoo instantly dropped her nice act and scoffed. "What are you doing back. I thought you were gone for good." Hyunwoo sighed. He didn't want to argue with her. He always knew she never liked him. "I had to leave for a while but I've been back for a few months now."

"I know what happened at the cafe where he worked. Then when he was kidnapped, and recently the break in. He did better on his own than with you. He was doing better before you, before Changkyun." Mrs. Yoo took a deep breath. "I understand you hate me but you don't have to bring Changkyun into this."

Mrs. Yoo scoffed again. "Don't act all high and mighty. Kihyun struggled with him for the past 4 years and all of a sudden you think you can help him and win him back." "Changkyun is a great kid. Kihyun did a good job raising him." Hyunwoo defended.

"He can't go into town without someone calling him a freak. It's so embarrassing I can't even leave my home." Hyunwoo was shocked by what she was saying so suddenly. "How could you say that about your own son. Changkyun is right here as well."

"He sucks on those cancer sticks because of you." She snapped. "Mrs. Yoo you should calm down. You're scaring Changkyun." Hyunwoo wrapped his arms around the toddler and pulled him close. The toddler was a little scared. He'd never heard his grandma speak like this before. He sniffled and shook.

"Grandma why are you being mean to appa." He sniffled again. "Ugh what even are you. Two boys can't create life. It just doesn't work like that." Hyunwoo got up and picked Changkyun up. "We're leaving." He stated. "Good. Seongmin is gonna be home soon and he doesn't like Kihyun or Changkyun."

"Grandma is being mean." Changkyun frowned. "She always nice. Why so mean now." Hyunwoo walked to the door and let Changkyun put his shoes on. Kihyun walked in and was surprised by them putting on their things.

"I wanted to stay a little longer." He mumbled. Changkyun held out his arms and sniffled. "What happened." He asked and picked up the toddler. "Grandma is being mean." Kihyun sighed and rubbed his temple. "Mom what did you say to Hyunwoo." "Only the truth." She snapped.

Kihyun shifted the toddler in his arms. "I get you hate Hyunwoo but that doesn't mean you should be rude in front of Changkyun. What happened to you being nice." He asked. "I am. I'm just speaking the truth. You should leave. Seongmin is gonna be home soon." Mrs. Yoo said again.

"Are you doing this because he's gonna be here. Why are you even with him. You know how he treated Changkyun and I." Kihyun frowned. Before the older woman could speak the door opened revealing Seoungmin. "What are you doing back." He growled. "Hyunwoo take Changkyun to the car. I have to speak to Seongmin and my mom."

The older nodded and took the younger. "Don't do anything. I'll be right back." Kihyun nodded and waited for Hyunwoo to leave. "Someone like you with someone like that. I feel sorry for him." Seongmin scoffed. "Don't say that you asshole." Kihyun spat.

"Watch your tone with me boy. Don't forget the last time you tried speaking up to me." Kihyun was filled with rage. He hated this man. "You're a dick." The younger yelled. "Yeah well at least I'm not a pussy like you." Seoungmin chuckled. The younger had had enough.

He walked up and punched him in the face. Making his mother scream. Seongmin laughed and walked towards Kihyun as he walked back. It was as if the punch didn't feel like anything, but there was definitely a mark. The younger was punched to the ground and his arm crushed by the mans boots. His mother tried to help him by prying off Seongmin.

Instead she got pushed onto the floor. "Kihyunnie." Hyunwoo gasped and shoved Seongmin to the ground. Then started punching him with all his strength. "Hyunwoo stop just take Kihyun and don't come back please." Mrs. Yoo pleaded. The older stopped and took deep breaths.

"Dump this prick. He just beat your son. If you even care about him you'd do that." He got up and went to the younger. Making sure he was okay and able to stand. Kihyun was crying and wrapped his arms around Hyunwoo. Needing the comfort. "Let's go." He mumbled and walked Kihyun out.

As soon as the younger was in the car. The older examined his face and arm. "I-I'll be okay." He sniffled and tried to smile but his jaw was trembling and so was his hand. "Where does it hurt the most." Hyunwoo asked softly. The younger pointed to his arm. "We'll get ice on it once we get home. You should rest." It looked more bruised and a little crushed then broken.

"Mommy can you sit with me." Changkyun asked innocently. "Y-Yeah sweety just give me a minute." Kihyun sighed. He licked his dry lips and got up Hyunwoo opened the back seat door for him and closed it once he knew Kihyun was safe and buckled.

He got into the car and drove off. Noticing the gas was low and had to make a quick stop. "I'll be back in a minute. Do you wa-" Hyunwoo turned to the back of the car and saw both Kihyun and Changkyun asleep. The red haired had moved the seats down creating a bed and held Changkyun close giving him his coat as a blanket.

Hyunwoo sighed and took his off reaching as far as he could and covering as much of Kihyun as he could. "I'll be back." He mumbled to himself. He got out and started putting gas in the car. His hands began to freeze so he stuffed them in his pockets and began moving side to side trying to get a bit warm.

After the tank was full. Hyunwoo looked in the window of his car making sure they were still asleep then began to walk into the store to pay. "Number 4." He took out his wallet and paid the amount due. "Anything else." The cashier asked. The older shook his head and glanced at the car. He saw the car door open and Kihyun rush Changkyun to the grass near a corner at the store. "What the." He mumbled and ran out.
