It had been way longer then a few hours. Everyone ate dinner and decided to watch a movie. The storm had already started to hit and Hyunwoo wasn't home yet. Though he responded to Hoseok right away and said he was on his way. Minhyuk already texted Jackson and made sure he made it home safely. Changkyun was long past out on his eommas lap sucking his thumb.

Kihyun was petting the toddlers head and rubbing his back trying to stay awake. Everyone else had already fallen asleep. Kihyun looked over at the clock and read 2:37am. He took a deep breath and tried to move Changkyun so he could go to the bathroom. The toddler just groaned and moved closer in Kihyuns embrace. A loud bang ran outside and the older instantly knew it was thunder. Kihyun was never fond of loud thunder it always made his chest drop each bang. As he did jump the front door opened and closed. He turned quickly and saw Hyunwoo drenched in rain. Ice sticking to him.

Kihyun felt like bursting into tears. Hyunwoo was far out of breath and what the younger could see was shivering aggressively. Lips purple and chatters. He walked into the living room and saw everyone. "Wh-What took you so long. I heard you shivering all the way from the door. What the hell Hyunwoo." Kihyun whisper snapped. He was now angry. Knowing Hyunwoo had a car and windows, heat, extra cloths.

"Th-The car broke down a f-few miles away from the h-house. So I tried running wh-when it was lightly sprinkling out. Y-You should still be on bed rest...wh-what are you doing up." Kihyun was about to speak when he heard coughing next to him. It was Changkyun. Then a sneeze after that. The toddler sat up and rubbed his eyes about to cry from his disturbed nap. "Appa." He pouted. The older picked him up.

Instantly Changkyun gasped and whimpered. "Appa so cold." He reached down for Kihyun to hold him needing the warmth. "You should shower before you catch a cold." Another bang made Kihyun and Changkyun jump. "I'll make the shower quick. 15 minutes tops." He kissed Kihyuns lips the younger feeling how cold he was and shivered himself. Changkyun fell fast asleep when Hyunwoo left.

Jooheon woke up and stretched. "Hyung what are you doing awake." He asked in a raspy voice. Kihyun smiled happy Hyunwoo was safe at home. "Hyunwoo is home. He just got here." Jooheon nodded. "That's good." He got up and poked everyone to wake them up. "Yah leave them alone." Kihyun whipser yelled. "Ani they told me to wake them up if they fell asleep earlier." Minhyuk was the first to sit up, then Hoseok.

Hyungwon wasn't waking up anytime soon. "Is hyung here yet." Was the first thing Hoseok said. Kihyun nodded and smiled again but faded as he spoke. "He just got here. I told him to take a shower before he catches a cold. The car broke down a few miles back so he ran here." The older nodded and picked Hyungwon up bridal style. "See you guys in the morning." Then walked to his room and shut the door.

After a few minutes Hyunwoo walked into the living room and picked Changkyun up out of Kihyuns arms. "Lets go to sleep." The younger nodded and got up using his crutches. They walked to Changkyuns room and set him down in his new bed. Instantly the toddler shivered from the cold blankets, but then snuggled closer to them as Hyunwoo placed his Shownu plush in his tiny arms.

They stood there looking at him. A way a mother and father do. Looking down at the tiny human they had both created. It was magic how Changkyun was here. He was the cutest sleeping thing they ever saw. Kihyun leaned into Hyunwoo and sighed. A thought popped into the olders head and smiled even brighter. "What if we try and have another one." Kihyun looked up at him and scoffed. "Like that would ever happen. Besides I thought you never wanted kids."

"Dr.Wang said we could try again after a few months. It's been way over a few months. I know we're in a tough spot right now but imagine it. Changkyun and his siblings, a younger sister and another brother. Playing outside of the house on the swings. Playing tag and chasing each other." Hyunwoo kept going on and on for a few minutes until he heard sniffles. He looked down and saw Kihyun crying.

"What's wrong. Is it your leg. Did I step on it." He asked. The younger shook his head and wrapped his arms around the olders waist. "Why are you crying then." Kihyun took a shaky breath and cleared his throat. "You think about our future. I haven't even thought what to make for breakfast in the morning. God I love you so much."

Hyunwoo chuckled and rubbed Kihyuns back. "Lets go to sleep. You're gonna be so tired in the morning." He picked Kihyun up making him squeal and giggle. "Hyung put me done." Kihyun tried to whisper shout. He didn't mind Hyunwoo picking him up it just startled him a bit. "Your burns aren't they hurting. I-I can walk myse-" There was a loud bang of thunder and Kihyun hung onto Hyunwoo tight.

Making the older scoff. "Don't worry babe I got you." Kihyun didn't respond he just let Hyunwoo carry him to their room. While he did he thought about what the older said. Kids. Kihyun always wanted a big happy family. He had told Hyunwoo when they were younger but the older freaked out. He didn't want any because of his family.

He didn't want to mess up and end up like his parents. So Kihyun decided he wouldn't have kids. He was willing to sacrifice it for love, but that all changed when the older left. He thought he'd never see him again and one day move on. But know Hyunwoo wanted kids. They had argued and argued about it till Kihyun agreed.

"Kihyun...Kihyun you okay." "Huh." He asked shaking his head. He went from Changkyuns room to Hyunwoo and his. "S-Sorry just thinking." He chuckled and got out of the olders arms. Then got into bed and under the covers. Hyunwoo doing the same. "Goodnight Kihyunnie." The younger was gonna reply but instead whimpered from the loud bang outside and cuddled into Hyunwoos chest.

"Still the same old you." Hyunwoo smiled. Kihyun sighed and smacked his chest. "You know I could always sleep in Changkyuns room." This made the older shut up. "I love you so much Hyunwoo." The older smiled again and held the younger closer. "I'm sorry I left you 5 years ago." Kihyun sat up and moved his hair out of his face.

"Dont beat yourself up about the past. What happened happened. There's no going back. Changkyun and I struggled for a long time yes, but now we're here. With you and everyone we love." It was the truth. Kihyun never took the wise path in life but he knew what it was. He knew you couldn't change the past. Just the future and your present. "Let's sleep. I'm tired."
