I was currently applying a black line of eyeliner on my lid, flicking it out at the outside corners of my eyes. Frustration was taking over as I kept fucking up the right eye. It refused to match my left eye and I was almost ready to give up. Finally I was kind of happy with the flicks and sighed, looking through my outfit choices.
Calum had invited me out to dinner, and I was totally unsure on whether it was a friend date or a date date. But either way, I was weirdly nervous. When he went through that crushing on me stage before I left, the feelings were never reciprocated, but to be fair, I never gave him a chance. So, I had no idea how this was going to turn out, and I was curious.
I stood in my black lace bra and underwear (like I said, I had no idea how this was going to turn out) digging through all my drawers, pulling a casual black dress out of my closet. I didn't even know what kind of restaurant we were going to, and I had no idea what to wear. When I went on dates in Nepal, I threw on whatever was lying around and honestly just didn't give a fuck. I guess in the city I could get away with that too, I just felt like there were people I needed to impress here. Including Calum. And to impress Calum, I needed to stop thinking and actually get ready for our date. And to do that, I needed to know what to wear.

I went back to the black dress I had lying on my bed and decided it would probably be good for the neither casual nor fancy restaurant. I quickly pulled it over my head. It had thin straps and an almost large portion of my cleavage showed. It was fitted at the top, and the skirt of it flared out subtly.
I already had on all my makeup, (including a lot of concealer, because there was a fucking pimple coming up on my chin and I was not okay with it) so I just needed to make my hair better and put on some shoes.
I pulled a brush through my hair and put some sea salt spray through it, not just because it made my hair look nicer, but because it smelt like coconut and coconut was probably my favourite thing ever. I had coconut shampoo and conditioner, too. Before going downstairs, I stepped into a pair of black cutout ankle boots with medium height heels.
