- Sara's POV -

I think I just blasted my eardrums. Hanna had been squealing non-stop. Yup, squealing.

Apparently, I was so lost in my own world that I didn't notice my best friend also having her moment with Taehyung. I'm so upset I missed it, not because it's probably the happiest moment in her life, but because she's been telling me how it went for like 100x now. I seriously felt like I personally witnessed everything.

We were on our way to the parking lot. The ones near Gocheok Sky Dome were all full, thanks to my bestie arriving fashionably late. That means we had to walk a few blocks to reach the spot where I parked my car.

"What's with you and Kookie?" Hanna asked.

Finally, a change of subject. Lol.

"Did you give your gift?" She asked.

"I did!" My turn to squeal haha. "I seriously didn't realize I'd get the chance to give it to him."

"What was in it anyway? I've asked you again and again, but you're being so secretive."

She's seriously been bugging me about it, but I thought that if I didn't get the chance to give it to him then, no need for anybody to know what it was.

But I did, and I seriously can't contain my happiness. So I thought, what the hell, right?

"I had this necklace made with the pendant having his initials. It looks exactly like mine." I said holding out my necklace for her to see. "Except this one has my initials."

"Ooh, sneaky bitch." She said while taking a closer look at my necklace. "You didn't tell me so I wouldn't have the same one made for Taehyungie!"

She's stomping like a little kid right now. I can't help but laugh, she looks so cute.

"I didn't think of it that way, although it was a good point haha. I really thought you'd find it so cheesy and would tease me to death."

She still looks upset.

"There's something else in the box, you know." I added, then started to walk away.

Curiosity got the best of her and she sure ran after me.

"What else is in the box?" She said looking suspicious.

"My recording." I confessed.

"Jinjja?" Disbelief clear in her voice.

I nodded.

"I'm sure he'll fall in love your voice. I've told you countless of times, you can easily be an idol."

"Ne."

"What, you don't believe me? We can do it now, I'll be your manager, promoter, makeup artist, stylist. We'll make you the hottest KPop Idol that it would be impossible for Kookie not to notice you."

There goes my ever supportive BFF. She loves a lot of girl groups like me, but we mostly support BTS. Why? Because she feels that I'm way better than those female idols.

"That's if Kookie hasn't noticed you yet." She teased.

Then, I remember. "Jungkook knows my name! I don't know how the hell it happened, but he said my name first." I blurted out.

"What? You sure?" She said clearly unconvinced. "I think you're just in cloud nine earlier that you didn't realize that you mentioned your own name. Or, maybe he heard me say it. I don't know."

"You're probably right. It was a crazy thought anyway."

"I know I am right, that's why we're besties. But did Jungkook say that he hopes to hear from you soon? What could he possibly mean? Did you tell him that you gave him your recording?"

We were just a few steps away from my car. I opened my purse to look for my keys.

"I'm pretty sure that I didn't. Maybe he meant see you soon. I don't know."

While looking for my keys, I found a neon green post-it inside my purse. I don't think there was a post-it on it before. I'm pretty neat with my things and I don't keep anything unnecessary in my bag.

I used the streetlight near us to see what's on it.

Call me
+82 XX XXXX XXXX
JK

I screamed like wild animal.

Did Kookie just slip his number into my bag?!!! My bias Jeon Jungkook, who looks like an angel but dances like he's the devil in disguise?!

I feel like my heart is racing out of my chest.

How does he sound on the phone? What will I say? Is he waiting for my phone call now?

My thoughts are running wild, just like how my heart is beating wildly.

"Hanna! Hanna!"

I looked around for Hanna, but she's busy with a phone call. Her face void of any color as she said, "Sara and I will be there, oppa. Mianhae."

"What is it, Hanna?"

She looks at me as if she's unsure of what to say.

Why does she look like something terrible has happened. I'm sure she's just overreacting. My oppa Daniel probably caught us sneaking out again. That's not something new. We'd get scolded at, but we're used to it now.

"Hanna! What did Daniel say?"

She's almost crying now when she said, "Sara, your mom."

That's all she got to say before I opened the car door then got the engine running. In just a few seconds, I was driving like a mad woman to go see eomma.
