8: That Girl From The Video

- Jungkook's POV -

"Sara. My name's Sara Young." She replied.

Her name's familiar. She definitely reminds me of someone.

Do I know her from somewhere?

Probably not.

I saw two of our bodyguards approach me. They said the van's outside, so is Taehyung.

"I need to go. It was really nice bumping into you Sara." I told her before I go.

Inside the van, I see all my hyungs.

"Ah this brat! Why did you leave without permission? Then you call us when you're in trouble? Do you know how worried we were?" Jin Hyung started scolding me as soon as I take my seat.

"Mianhae. Sorry for worrying you."

"Gwaenchanha (Are you okay)?" Asked Jimin.

"Ne. Gwaenchanha. (Yes.I'm okay.)"

"Jinjja?" I heard Taehyung said who's in the front seat. "Jungkook ah! Jae-Hwa said he saw you holding a girl's hand." He told me.

Jae-Hwa was one of the bodyguards who accompanied me out of the bookstore.

"Is she pretty?" Hobi asked Jae-Hwa.

"Ne (Yes). Very pretty." Jae-Hwa replied.

"Oohh our maknae is no longer a boy.", Namjoon teased.

"Jungkook ah! You should've just said you're going on a date. Next time tell me about it and I'll send Jae-Hwa as your chaperone." Jin Hyung who's always so protective.

"I didn't go on a date hyung. I just bumped into her outside the store." I explained.

"But is she really pretty? How does she look like?" Jimin asked curiously.

"Yes. She didn't have any makeup on. She looks so natural and refreshingly beautiful." I answered.

"Ooh Jungkook's sounds like a poet. She must be gorgeous to get our maknae's attention." Taehyung commented.

"What's her name?" Hobi asked.

"How does she look like?" Namjoon added.

"Did you get her number?" said Yoongi.

"Aniyo (No). Jae-Hwa and ll-Sung were there before I even asked for her number, but I got her name. Her name is as pretty as she looks." I replied proudly.

"What's her name?" Jimin asked excitedly.

"Sara Young."

"Ooh Sara." Said Jin hyung. Then he started singing an old song, "Sara, Sara, storms are brewin' in your eyes."

"Didn't we have this conversation before?" Taehyung asked.

"What do you mean?" That was Jimin.

"I mean, wasn't there another girl named Sara that Jungkook was hung up on not long ago." Taehyung explained.

"Jinjja?" Jimin.

"Which one? There are a lot of pretty girls catching our maknae's attention." Hobi asked.

"Hmmm I think the one who gave her the video recording if I'm not mistaken. I'm not really sure if her name is Sara, but I remember there's someone named Sara that Jungkook was talking about before." Taehyung said uncertainly.

"Ooh that girl looks hot. Do you still have that recording?" Jiminie asked.

Then it clicked. The girl singing Danger in the coffee shop. The girl who gave me the necklace and the video recording. The girl with the angelic voice. The girl whom I gave my number, but didn't call.

That's why she looks so familiar. I'm sure that's her.

"Jungkook ah! Are you even listening?" Namjoon asked sounding irritated, interrupting my thoughts.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Hobi asked if she looks like that girl from the video."

"I'm not really sure but now that you mentioned it, I remember having this feeling that I knew that girl from somewhere I just can't point it out."

"Well let's check the video later." Yoongi suggested.

"This is exciting." Hobi commented.

Then I realised, "I guess there's no use because I don't have her number."

"Oh well if you meet her again for the third time, Kookie then that's what you call destiny." Jin hyung said.

- Sara's POV -

I'm now  in the office. After that fateful encounter, I went back to Mac Store and it turns out they had to replace my phone. I'm now ready to get back to my pile of work.

I still can't believe I bumped into him, of all people it had to be Jungkook.

I can't be swayed.

Get hold of yourself Sara. You don't have time to think about someone you're not going to see again. Besides, nothing good ever came out from your fan girling moments.

What if I see him again?

Nope. That's very unlikely. We may both live in Seoul but we live in very different worlds.

If we happen to meet again, I'll be calm and collected. He's nothing to me.

Right?
