22: Dinner With The Boys

Sara's POV:

Hanna coughed as if she still needed to get my attention. I found her mouthing something I couldn't understand.

Looking at Jungkook, I was surprised to find our sitting position. I was sitting on his lap while facing him and my legs are wrapped around his. I immediately got up and sat beside him instead. I can tell I'm red as a tomato as I can feel the heat on my cheeks.

"Mianhae. We didn't mean to surprise you." I heard Jin speak up. I looked up to find his apologetic look while the others are still smirking and teasing Jungkook. "Anyway, we haven't had dinner yet and Taehyung thought we could all enjoy some samgyeupsal.", he continued.

"I'm sorry, Sarah. Taehyung asked where you live and you know I couldn't say no to him." Hannah said the last part of her sentence in almost a whisper. I'm not even sure if Taehyung heard it because he appears nonchalant as he look around my tiny apartment.

Jungkook was shaking his head while glaring at Taehyung.

"What? I just want to have samgyeupsal and I thought it would be nice to spend more time with Sara." Taehyung said in a defensive tone.

Namjoon decided to butt in, "Well she's your
girlfriend now which makes her our sister, we'd love to get to know her more. What better opportunity than now when we have a few days break?"

I found Taehyung doing a thumbs up at Namjoon, the latter just smirked back at him.

"What are you talking about? You guys knew Sarah already." Jungkook said, his patience running thin.

"I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to spend time with you and Sarah over some nice meal." Yoongi said matter of factly while shrugging.

"Alright." His shoulders slumped in surrender before facing me, "You wanna go?"

I nodded and before I realize what's going on, we were already inside an SUV with Jungkook beside me, holding my hand tightly.

"We're here!" he beamed at me. Talk about him and his mood swings. He looks a little too excited for some samgyupsal that I couldn't help but laugh a little at his cuteness.

He put on black bucket hat on both of our heads, before we dashed out of the car into the restaurant. I didn't realize they need to have bodyguards with them when they go out to eat. Jungkook was holding my hand as he led me through what seems to be a private hall in the restaurant. Taehyung, Jimin and Hanna were already seated when we got there. I decided to sit on her right and Jungkook sat beside me. It didn't take long before the rest of the boys as well as their managers and bodyguards are with us too.

They were all chatting and teasing each other that Hanna and I couldn't help but just stare at them with joy. I love seeing that their chemistry on screen is true and that they indeed brothers. I know I've seen them a lot during practice and the shoot, but this is the first time I'm seeing them together as normal men in their 20s having fun.

"Why aren't you eating babe?"

"Huh." I was taken out of my trance as I heard Jungkook's voice.

Before I can even speak, Jungkook said "Aaaahh." asking me to open my mouth. He carefully fed me with ssambap as I did.

"Woah our maknae is all grown up now." Hobi commented. "She's looking after her girl now.", he added.

"You look really cute together. I'm glad you were finally able to persuade Sara, JK." Seokjin said.

"Hyung, you make it sound like I forced her to be with me." Jungkook of course complained.

"Didn't you?" Yoongi hyung asked, not even bothering to look up since he's busy grilling some pork.

"Raise your hand if you think Jungkook tricked Sara into saying yes while she's sick?" Taehyung asked everyone and they were laughing their butts off when they see everyone's hand is up, including Hanna.

"I thought so." Yoongi said while smirking.

I looked at Jungkook's disappointed face and I can't help but feel sad for him.

"Oh wait, Sara didn't raise her hand." Namjoon commented making everyone's eyes dart to our direction while I was busy stuffing Jungkook's mouth with ssambap.

He still seem to be so down, so I kissed his cheek. I see the shock on his face when he looked at me. "Saranghae." I whispered to him.

He looked so happy as he whispered back,"Nado saranghae."

"Now I'm jealous." Jimin said with a frown on his face.

"It seems Sara answered all your questions with that little display of attention." Jin commented.

Everyone laughed again and the tension is out of the room.

We were all having fun while eating, chatting, drinking soju while others are having beer.

Jungkook's laughing his ass off because of Jin oppa's joke, but he never let my hand go while his other hand is on my shoulder pulling me close to him.

I can't stop smiling while silently watching them. I love these boys so much. Why did I ever think I'm over Bangtan? They're probably the kindest and most genuine boys I've had the pleasure to meet.

I also noticed Hanna and Taehyung. Something's definitely up with those two. Taehyung just whispered something to Hanna and she's blushing like a ripe tomato.

Before we realized it, it was close to midnight already. We're all back in the SUV on the way to my apartment.

Jungkook wanted to spend the night at my place, but I declined. Hanna decided to sleepover instead and assured him that she'll take care of me in case I get sick. Despite his persuasion and a lot of aegyo, he ended up agreeing but not before he demanded to drive me to work the following day.

I'm sure you know what happened as soon as I closed my apartment door. Hanna grilled me with her questions until I decided to tell her how it happened.

"I can't believe it." She said as soon as I finished my side of the story. "I mean I can see he's got the hots for you, but this time it's official. You're Mrs Jeon now?" She said with a dreamy look on her face.

I smacked her head so she can get back to reality. "Wtf are you saying? I'm not Mrs Jeon."

"Technicalities! Besides it's only gonna be a matter of time."  She said with conviction.

"To be honest, I refuse to think of it that way. He said he loves me, but he's an idol. A lot of things can happen so I guess only time will tell. I don't want to get my hopes up and then be broken." I confessed.

"I got what you mean, but can you think of what I'm saying first? He's the Golden Maknae of BTS. The girl every girl wants, but he chose you. You who have always been their fan and he's your bias for godsake. Can you just freak out and fangirl with me for two minutes?" Hanna exclaimed.

"I guess when you put it that way." I said with a huge smile on my face.
