- Sara's POV -
It's been a few days since we all had dinner together. BTS's short break is almost over. They have to continue with their tour to other Asian countries.
I just finished my work for the day and was putting stuff in my bag when my phone rang. Looking at my phone screen, I couldn't help but smile.
"Hey babe." I answered.
"Are you heading home soon?" Jungkook asked.
"Yup. Just finished work. How was your day?" I asked.
"It was alright. We had a short practice earlier since we're leaving for Taiwan tomorrow." He explained. "Listen. I'm thinking we should go for dinner or movies. I wanna spend time with you before I leave. What do you say?" he asked.
"Sounds good to me."
"Awesome! I'm in front of your buidling now. I guess I'll see in a few minutes." He said excitedly.
"What? You mean now???" The disbelief is clear in my voice.
"Yeah. Now." I can picture him smiling. "I missed you a lot today and I can't wait to see you."
I panicked and looked at myself in the mirror. I dressed plainly today. Not the usual clothes I used to wear, but still I want to look my best in front of my boyfriend. Why was I even surprised he's picking me up? He's been driving me to and from work everyday.
I guess knowing he's leaving tomorrow and they have a rehearsal today, made me think that he's bailing out tonight. In fact, it's the first time in the past few days that I drove my car to work.
"Babe?" He called out, snapping me out of my trance.
"I'll be right down." I told him before ending the call.
I rushed trying to make myself more presentable before I made my way out of the building.
We ended up in the mall parking lot. It's been a few minutes already, but I can't bring myself to get out of the car.
"Are you sure about this?" I asked him. We're just about to go to a public place together. We usually spend time at home in my apartment and I'm perfectly fine with that. I honestly thought we're watching movie at home, but I guess he had other things in mind.
"We got this. I mean some of us usually sneak out to watch movies, but no one recognized us." He said trying to convince me. He's even wearing dark shades, face mask and a cap as he's trying to prove a point.
"I hate to burst your bubble, but I can recognize you just fine even with your so called disguise." I decided to break it to him. "I'm sure other ARMYs did recognize you too and were just kind enough to give you privacy. But this? It's a different matter entirely if they see you out with a girl. You think we can watch a movie in peace without a single person snapping a picture?" I explained.
"Well they can take a picture and think whatever for all I care. I want to spend time with my girl and that's final." He looked a little sad.
What am I gonna do with this boy? I'm sure he's doing this because we won't be seeing each other for a while and I understand that. I'm gonna miss him a lot too. Just thinking about it hurts me, but that's not a reason to jeopardize his career. ARMY isn't ready for anyone in Bangtan to have a relationship and I'm sure BigHit knows that. I just don't want them to break us apart.
"How about this? We'll watch a movie, but we'll have to go there separately. I'll go inside first and you can just sneak in once the lights are all off. What do you say?" I explained hoping he'd agree. Good thing he did, because I'm not sure exactly what I'll do if he insists we walk to the movies together.
