25: Who's The Lucky Guy?

- Sara's POV -

It's been a week since BTS left for Taiwan. Their concert in Taipei is done and I had a blast watching fancams.

I miss him a lot, but he does his best for us to talk or FaceTime when he's available.

Speaking of the devil.

I couldn't help but smile when I heard my phone ring and his name flashing on my phone screen.

"Babe." I greeted him before putting him on speaker. He's in back seat of a car and it seems they're driving off to the airport to go to Macau.

We talked for a few minutes with Jimin butting in every now and then and keeps on teasing Jungkook. I couldn't help but laugh. Jungkook looks so annoyed and Jimin is enjoying himself too much.

We had to end the call when they arrived at the airport. "I guess I'll see you in a week?" I told him.

He looks so down before saying, "Yes. I wish I can see you sooner. I miss you already."

"I miss you too. Don't worry, I'm sure before we both know it you're knocking on my door already." He gave me a weak smile.

"Take care of yourself babe and make sure to tell everyone at work that you have a man already." He said with a warning look.

He's glaring at me but I'm still laughing. He's just too cute for words. "Ne. I'll let them know that I'm taken."

We then said our goodbyes and ended the call.

"Tell me who's the lucky man."

I looked up to find my mother in my office. To say I was surprised was an understatement.

"Eomma." I walked towards her to kiss her cheek and hugged her tightly. "What a surprise? I didn't know you'd be here."

"I must say it's indeed a nice surprise." She said in a teasing manner. "When will I meet the guy who captured my girl's heart?"

I guess it's no sense denying now, so I answered, "Soon eomma, I promise. But can you promise not to tell appa and Daniel oppa for now?" I asked her worriedly. I don't know how they'll take this news and I'm not ready for another drama.

"Ne. I'll let you tell them when you're ready and I'll hold on to that promise. You better not make me wait long." My mother said.

"Ne. You'll meet him soon and I hope you'll approve ‪of him." I told her honestly.

"I'm sure I will." She said with a tender smile on her face. "Are you done with work? Your father wants us to have family dinner tonight. I asked Daniel to pick me up at home because I wanted to surprise you."

"Ne. I'm done." I still have loads of work to be honest, but my mother comes first.

I grabbed my bag and pushed her wheelchair as we make our way to my father's office.

My father and Daniel oppa seem to be discussing about one of our projects before we came in. It didn't take long for us to leave the building and head to my mother's favorite Italian restaurant.

We had a nice meal. It was different. For the first time, I saw my father smiled at me while Daniel oppa was looking at me fondly, and my mother looked like she was about to cry from so much happiness. We looked like how a normal family would, like how we were before things happened.
