31: I'm In Love

- Sara's POV -

He said he needed a minute, but he's been taking notes and erasing stuff for hours now.

I'd hate to disturb him seeing how focused he is on what he's doing.

I decided to clean up and even wash the dishes, but after that he's still on his notebook. I decided to get a paperback novel and read beside him. Just his presence is enough to make me calm and happy.

After what seemed like forever, I heard him say "I think I did it."

"Huh? What do you mean?" I can't help but ask. He showed me his notes.

"I wrote a song for you." He said. Did I hear him, right? I looked at his notebook and true enough I see lyrics to a song.

"I've been writing it for the past few months, but I can't seem to find the right words and finish the song, but I got it. I got it now." He said proudly.

"You wrote a song for me?" I asked still not believing that I heard him right.

"I was planning to sing it alone, but there's just something missing. Now I know it's you." He said looking really happy. "I just wrote down the things you told me and it makes perfect sense. I'm meant to sing it with you."

"Sing it with me? Noooo." I declined clearly panicking at the thought of singing with Jungkook.

I mean singing is my hobby, but again that's a hobby. While he's the main vocalist of the biggest boy band in the world. How can I even compare?

"I know you can do it. I didn't fell in love with your voice without a reason. Besides I don't want to sing it with anyone else but you." He said with a determined look on his face.

"Promise I'll guide you." He continued.

"What do you mean, now?" I know I may sound annoying af right now, but I'm not ready to do this. I can't do this!

"What better time than today?" He replied.

After much discussion, you can imagine what happened already, I can never say no to him. True enough, he was really patient with me. He played the piano and sang the entire song a few times until I get it. Each time he did it, I'm mesmerized. He made it easy for me to learn the words and the melody because it feels like we're just telling our story. He also made some suggestions on how I should sing some parts.

When I was confident enough, we sang together.
