The next day, I was enjoying a drink with Cana when Mira ran down the stairs in a hurry. "One of the S-class quests is missing".

Everyone was shocked at the news. Eventually, Laxus spoke up. "A little blue cat flew up here and ripped it off the board".

"That's got to be Natsu and Happy. Why am I so surprised?" I muttered to myself.

"Which job was it?" Makarov asked Mira.

"Lifting the curse on Galuna Island".

That got everyone worried.

"Laxus, you have to go after them. You're the only one strong enough to bring them back by force!" Makarov told his grandson.

Suddenly, Gray stood up. "Sorry Master, but I'm afraid I gotta disagree with you". He then proceeded to walk out the door.

As he walked away, I called out to him. "Wait, I'm coming with you".

He stopped and turned around to look at me. "I don't need your help. I can deal with them on my own".

"You forget that they're my friends too. This isn't up for discussion". With that, I walked out the door and made my way to Hargeon Port, not waiting for Gray to catch up.

Finally, we found them looking for a boat to take them to Galuna.

"The Master sent us to take you back to the guild," Gray told them.

With a heavy sigh, I spoke up. "That was the initial idea, yes. However, that's not why I came. I'm coming with you guys".

"Seriously?!" They all said in unison.

"I have a feeling having an S-class wizard would be good for this quest. Plus, it sounds like fun," I explained. "Plus, I'm a little insulted that you didn't come to me for help".

I watched as Natsu and Gray argued, again. Luckily, before things got out of hand, a fisherman nearby noticed that we were wizards and spoke up. "Are you wizards? Have you come to lift the curse on the island?"

Natsu agreed, but Gray denied it. Just like that, the fisherman offered to take us to the island. Gray wasn't having much luck getting us to come home. Eventually, Natsu knocked him out and took him with us so he couldn't go back to the guild. So that Gray wouldn't attack us again or swim back to the guild, Natsu thought it was a good idea to tie Gray up.

"Every time, Natsu!" I exclaimed to him while watching him trying not to puke his guts out again.

The fisherman introduced himself as Bobo and started telling us about the curse. "I used to be a citizen of Galuna Island, but I had to flee. I just couldn't take it anymore. Tragedy befalls anyone who sets foot on the island. There's no avoiding it unless you're able to lift the curse". Then he lifted the cape he was wearing to reveal the hand of a demon.

When we saw Galuna Island, we turned to look at it. When we turned around, the man was gone. Suddenly, a big Tsunami hit us, and we were sent flying into the ocean.

As if by some miracle, we ended up on the island. That's when Gray agreed to come with us.

Finally, we arrived at the village on the island. When we told the villagers of our presence, they asked to see our emblems, so we showed it to them. Once they saw how legitimate we were, they let us in. They all took off their capes to reveal that they all had a body part equivalent to a demon.

The chief started telling us about the curse. "Our symptoms began around the same time the moon fell under an evil spell. Since ancient times, this island had absorbed the light of the moon, causing it to glow almost as beautifully as the moon itself. However, several years ago, the moon's colour began to change, and an eerie purple glow was cast onto the island".
