Fairy Tail x Reader (With Mystogan)

Tower of Heaven

For the first time in a really long time, I was actually having fun. We played at the beach during the daytime, then at night, we went to the hotel-casino. Natsu, Gray and Happy were doing who-knows-what while Erza, Lucy and I played at the Blackjack table. Even I didn't know what was in store.

As soon as they changed dealers, that's when it all went south. It turns out, the dealer was one of Erza's childhood friends. I recognised him from the Tower of Heaven. They were after Erza. Somehow, he managed to transport all the citizens inside playing cards. Just as we were about to fight back, a girl that looked kind of like a cat showed up and tied us up with some sort of tail. Then a guy with a blockhead showed up with a sleeping Happy. Not long after that, a guy with something over his head and an eyepatch showed up.

Just before they left, the blonde said something to Erza that really shocked me. "I can't believe you're really coming home, to the Tower of Heaven'.

'I don't remember Jellal saying anything about this,' I thought while still tied up.

Suddenly, they decided to take me along as well. "Why are you taking me as well?!" I asked them, a bit angry.

"Sorry, Jellal's idea," the blonde named Sho replied.

'Of course, it was,' I thought. 'I need to have a serious talk with him when we get there'.

After what seemed like forever, we finally made it to the Tower of Heaven. After locking Erza in a cell, they brought me straight to Jellal. He was wearing his hood, as usual. When I arrived, he sat down in his throne and stared at me. "Forgive me for not untying you. I'm sure you can understand why," he said with his usual smirk.

"Any reason why you decided to kidnap me as well?" I asked, impatiently.

"I need you to activate the Tower of Heaven. Can't have your friends find out that you're working with me willingly, now can we?"

By that point, I had completely lost patience. "We had a deal! I said I would help you with your stupid plan if my friends weren't harmed in the process! That includes Erza!" After I re-joined Fairy Tail, I went back to Siegrain and re-negotiated our deal.

"I'm re-negotiating our deal".

"You can't do that!"

He got up from his chair and slowly walked up to me until he was so close, I could feel his breath on my skin. "Activate the Tower of Heaven or your precious 'friends' find out everything about you".

My eyes widened at his words. My friends could not find out about me under any circumstances. If they did, it could put them and myself in danger. I knew there was only one choice. Reluctantly, I nodded my head in agreement. With that, he finally untied me.

While this was happening, there was also a council meeting at that exact moment, so I sent a projection there while I stayed here, with Jellal. He didn't want to let me out of his sight.

He kept talking to someone from the assassin group 'The Trinity Raven'. All I wanted was to wipe that smug grin off his face, but if I did that, I'd have lost the only people I had at that moment, so all I could do was stand by his side.

At Era

We were talking about the Tower of Heaven. Everyone, except Ultear, Siegrain and I were shocked that one was still standing.

"According to our latest intelligence, the black magic cult thought to be responsible for the R-System is no longer occupying the tower. It's a group of wizards led by a man named Jellal," one of the councilmen said. At that, everyone was shocked, and all eyes turned to Siegrain.
