When I caught myself

A rude awakening

Lisa and I walked through the corridors I told her about what happened on Monday that's the great thing about Lisa even if we hate each other we would never do anything to hurt each other unlike Stacey, Stacey was manipulative and cruel I don't know why I still call her a friend when all she has done is caused me problems.

"Evan put it out!" I look up and see a boy named Jack me and him aren't close but we get a long "what?" I ask, "Mrs Green is around the corner approaching" he say waving at me "shit!" I quickly stub a cigarette on the wall and put the evidence in my pocket, I had never been caught smoking at school except for when Miss Fleming caught me out in class but never during "Uh it's good to see you have friends that have your back Evan, Miss Fleming told me to keep eye on you." why the hell did she do that "I don't need a babysitter but thanks for your input, Mrs Green." Mrs Green was a scary looking older lady she had been here for a while it's not that I don't like her but we have our differences.

I pull out the cigarette from my pocket and light it up I look at Jack "Your lucky you got away with it Evan, Mrs Green never lets anyone get away with smoking on grounds." he looks at me astonished "You just got to know them, we have a difficult past but we understand each other, were slightly similar.

I can feel my phone vibrate in my pocket I don't hesitate to pull it out still puffing on my cigarette it's from Lisa "Uhh can we meet outside you locker now, we have a problem." I didn't even bother about replying so I just stuffed the phone back into my pocket threw the cigarette away and went to my locker.

I see Lisa "what's going on" she looks at me awkwardly "okay don't freak out but..."
