Chapter 2

The next day, I woke up with a pounding headache. What happened? I thought to myself as I sat up. I looked around to see my room trashed and my clothes on the floor. My eyes widened at that. I looked down and the only thing covering me was my blanket. Oh god, what did I do last night? I wondered as I got up and changed.

I walked around the house to find that there was only one other person awake. Evanna sat in the living room, partially watching Spongebob. "Hey babe," I said, sitting down next to her.

She didn't respond. Instead, she looked down at her hands and sighed. "What's wrong?" I asked.

She looked up at me. "They found out," she replied, "Blaze, the twins, Virginia. They found out about us"

Tears were streaming down her face. My heart stopped and my head spun. They found out? I asked myself, But how?

I took her hand in mine and sighed. "It's alright," I said, "Things might be a little different now, but it's going to be alright"

She climbed onto my lap and rested her head on my shoulder. We sat there until she fell asleep. I quietly brought her upstairs and laid her on my bed. When I went back downstairs, Blaze and Virginia were talking quietly about something. "Hey you guys," I said, "What's going on?"

   They looked at me. Blaze looked disappointed while Virginia had a worried look on her face. "So you and Evanna?" Blaze asked with a scowl.

   I sighed and sat down across from him, next to Virginia. "Yeah," I replied, "So what?"

   "What do you mean so what?" He asked, "Do you know what could happen if things don't work out? It could ruin everything!"

   I rolled my eyes. "It won't ruin anything," I said, "It will be awkward at first, yes, but everything is going to be fine. I mean, look at Jordan and Harley. They were dating and everything turned out fine."

   "That was before they left and told on us," Blaze said, clenching his fists. 

   "We were found innocent," I retorted "They didn't have any proof."

   Blaze didn't answer. Instead, he just got up and left. "You shouldn't have brought up Jordan and Harley," Virginia said.

   I got up and stretched my arms. "He was just being dramatic," I replied.

   "Still though," she said, standing up.

   I shrugged. "Where are Melania and Dola?" I asked realizing I haven't seen them yet.

   "They left earlier this morning," Virginia said as we  walked into the kitchen, "They went to see Alex and Eliza's house"

   I sighed and grabbed a water bottle. Alex and Eliza were also twins. They were our partners and closest friends. They were also the people Melania and Dola went to when they wanted to gossip or rant. If they were there, then this week would be a long one.
