Over the next few weeks, things have gotten tense. It got to the point that Dola somehow managed to burn water. "I knew you were a bad cook, but I didn't know you were this bad!" Melania teased.

Dola rolled his eyes before punching his brother in the arm. "Ow! I was just joking!" Melania said, rubbing his arm.

Melania left the kitchen and Dola just put the pot in the sink. Evanna looked up at me. I just shrugged and continued to eat my Raisin Bran. Blaze walked in not too long after. "What's wrong with Melania and why does it smell like someone burnt something in here?" he asked.

"Melania made a joke about how bad Dola is at cooking," I said, "Dola took it a little too personally and punched Melania in the arm"

"Dola couldn't take a joke?" Blaze asked, his eyes wide.

"I know right?" I replied looking at him.

Dola groaned as he burned the food he was making. He threw the stuff in the trash and left the kitchen. "I swear if this was a cartoon, his ears would be smoking and his face would be redder than blood," I said, making Evanna giggle.

Blaze sat down across from us with a bowl of Lucky Charms. "Do you realize how unhealthy that cereal is?" I asked.

He nodded and kept eating.  I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Anyway, I'm thinking in a few days we could put the plan into action," I said as I finished my cereal.

He looked up, his eyes sparkling with joy. "Really?" he asked.

I nodded. He did a little dance, making me laugh. "Don't get too excited,"  I said, "We have to make sure everybody is on board with it. We also have to make sure we know it's safe to go"

Blaze groaned. "Lenora. Darlin'" he started, "I am one hundred percent positive that it's going to be safe to go"

I rolled my eyes and left. I heard the sound of something being put in the sink and then someone running.  I turned around just have Evanna jump into my arms. I laughed as she buried her face into my neck. "It's so weird seeing you with short hair," I said.

She has washed the remainder of the dye out of her hair before cutting it off. She now had a pixie cut. "Do you like it," she said, looking up at me.

She bit her lip as her eyes widened. "I love it," I said giving her a kiss on the nose.

She smiled before laying her head back on my shoulder. I carried her over to the couch and sat down next to Melania. "Hey bud," I said.

   He didn't respond. "What's wrong?" I asked.

He looked at me and sighed. "Dola won't talk to me," he replied, "He's been really moody lately and has started to be kind of mean. He's been super secretive which is really weird for him. Even Alex and Eliza are noticing how different he's being"

Evanna climbed over onto his lap and gave him a big hug. He chuckled and hugged her back. "Thanks, cutie," he said.

"Your welcome," she replied with a big smile.

I smiled and laid my head on his shoulder. Evanna did the same and we sat there in a beautiful silence. There was nothing I'd rather be doing.
