8: Severus is a cheeky cat

Aleli went home by the time she felt a strong pang of pain below her stomach. She's been feeling sick lately, her breasts felt tender and sensitive for the past few days, of course it was symptoms of her PMS. Before she left the the birthday party earlier, she said good bye to Ozzy and his wife Sue. One thing she figured out about Agatha or also known as 'cloak girl' by Luke, is that she's very chirpy and easy to get along with. She was nice to her earlier when she gave Aleli a quick tour of Ozzy's collection of guitars. Of course Aleli's interested, although Agatha thought that they might be caught going through the old man's stuff, she still insisted on showing her the line of guitars hung on the wall. That was before she lost Agatha in the crowd when they started dancing.

When Aleli arrived to her home, she saw Severus lying on his bed, he was playing with the ball of yarn that she uses for her rituals sometimes. She took a quick bath and learned that it's that time of the month. She changed her clothes to comfy ones before she pulled out the sofa bed in the living room. She took some of her pillows from her room and also her fluffy blanket before placing them on the sofa bed. She turned on the television and let whatever was showing stay as it was. She took a pill for her pain and tied up her hair in a small bun since it wasn't long enough yet. She lied on the sofa bed and pulled the blanket over her body. She felt a bit better because of the medicine and of course the comfort of her pillows and blanket.

"Wanna watch Stranger Things with me?" she asks Severus who looked at her before getting of his bed. He jumped on the bed and lied in front of Aleli's stomach. She rubbed her hand on top of his head making him purr.

Her phone buzzed and she saw it was a message from Luke.

From Luke:

Hey, is your house the one with a small gate?

To Luke:

Yeah, why?

From Luke:

I'm outside your door.

"Shoot," she said and sat up causing Severus to fall off the bed. "I'm sorry," she said as she picked up Severus and placed him back on the bed. She totally forgot that Luke was coming over.

She stood up and walked towards the door as she pulled down her shorts a little to hide at least a little bit more skin. She opened the door and saw Luke standing there. He had a box of pizza and cans of soda with him. He was wearing what wasn't usual to Aleli's eyes. He wasn't wearing his uniform, absolutely not, he was wearing a jacket on top of his tight white shirt, skinny jeans that fit his long legs perfectly, and his black boots. He frowned when he saw Aleli's appearance.

"Are you sick?" he asks. Aleli nodded and let him in the house before she closed the doors. He looked around and took in the view of her house.

"It's just that time of the month," she said and he nodded.

"Good thing I brought pizza and soda," he smiles.

They settled the food on the center table and Luke noticed that she has a cat. He looked at Severus for a while, both of them looking at each other without blinking. He sighed and turned to Aleli who was now sitting on the bed.

"Your cat is great at staring contests," he said and sat beside her.

"Severus is a cheeky cat."

"Severus? That name sounds familiar," he said and opened the box of pizza before taking one and offering her.

"From Harry Potter," she said and took the slice of pizza before biting.

"Ahh yes," he nods, "You sleep here?"

"Not all the time," she said and swallowed her food before speaking again. "Just when I feel like it."

He nods and continues eating his slice of pizza. A few cans of soda down and the once full pizza box now empty, they found themselves watching Men in Black 2. Luke lied down on the left side of the couch as Aleli was on the right, Severus in the middle of them both.

"I met cloak girl earlier," Aleli said making Luke turn to her.

"Yeah? Where?"

"At old man Ozzy's house. She's his niece, and turns out she actually has a name," she said making Luke chuckle.

"What's her name?"

"Agatha."

"So you and Agatha bonded huh?" he jokes making her look at him.

"We talked and that's it. She's a nice person tho, I don't get why you joke about her," Aleli said with a cold tone. Luke cleared his throat and turned to face the tv. He looked at the time and saw that it was already past midnight. Time does go by fast.

"I should go," he said and stood up. Aleli letting him stand up as she cozied herself.

"Okay, thank you for the pizza and sodas," she said and he smiles down at her.

"No problem. Do you need anything else while I'm here?" he asks and she shakes her head slowly.

"Nothing in particular."

"Okay, I'll be going now," he said and she nods as she continued watching.

Luke gave her a small smile before looking down at his feet and walking around the couch to reach the door. He paused when he was behind the couch just to pinch Aleli's nose making her groan in annoyance.

"I got your nose," he said making her sit up, her eyebrows furrowed and nose almost flaring.

"Kidding," he said and pushes his hand back to her face. "See you on Tuesday," he said as he opened the door.

"I hope you trip on the steps," she said and he chuckled.

"Bye," he waved and closed the door.

She touched her nose lightly as she felt the slight pang of pain because Luke pinched hard. Aleli caught Severus looking at her with a tired look. She places her hands on his head and he purred again.

"Alright, time for bed," she said. She turned off the tv and turned on the humidifier to get rid of the smell of pizza. Severus cuddled up next to her as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

She woke up the next morning without Severus by her side. She checked the time and saw that it's already 8 am. So she stood up from the couch and checked if there's anything on the bed, nothing. She stretched her body and walked towards the player and put on Synchronicity which was The Police's album. She bought it with her other CD's online.

Aleli heard Severus' meow inside her room and she walked in to see what he was being loud about. She saw that it he was pointing at the calendar that was on her wall.

"Brace yourself from the cold weather then," she said as she ripped the page of the calendar. "Halloween's coming," she smiled at Severus.
