What I love about Charlie...Charlie is undaunted. He never lets other people's opinions or any set-backs keep him from what he wants to do. Charlie eats like he's trying to get it over with and like there won't be enough food for everyone.A sandwich is to be strangled while devoured. But he's incredibly neat and I rely on him to keep things in order. He's energy conscious. He doesn't look in the mirror too often. He cries easily in movies. He is very self-sufficient -- he can darn a sock and cook himself dinner and iron a shirt. He rarely gets defeated (which I feel like I always do). Charlie takes all of my moods steadily, he doesn't give in to them or make me feel bad about them. He's a great dresser, he never looks embarrassing which is hard for a man -
Agatha, who was watching a movie, was interrupted by her sister was attempting to sit beside her. Adele, she had this sharp cheekbones making her look like Maleficent from the cartoon movie Sleeping Beauty, her freckles scattered all over her face down to her whole body, unlike Agatha, she has a straight and shoulder length cut hair - it made her look chic, specially the way she dresses herself. Black turtle neck hugging her body beautifully as she tucked it in her white fit pants, she even has a coat that she wore when she arrived - which was now hung up the rack. Agatha always looked at her sister as a model, she could actually be one of those gorgeous ladies walking down the runway, but Adele chose to be a teacher like their mother, she took a higher step though. Adele teaches at a University in Denver where she teaches business and finance.
"Adele, you look so beautiful!" Agatha said happily as she glanced at her sister's skin.
"Darling, I've had better days," Adele said with a laugh. "I gained a couple of pounds actually," she said as she raised her arms as if she was checking it if the fat was still there.
"Ah! That's why you look better," Agatha grins.
"You're awfully happy for my liking. What is up with you? You have a boyfriend?" Adele raised her right eyebrow, a habit she does when she speculates.
"No I don't," Agatha blushed as she immediately thought about Callahan. She wonders how his Christmas is going.
"I've been in that situation. Don't tell me lies," Adele said and turned to the kitchen where their father was.
"Papa! Agatha's dating someone!!" Adele spoke in French.
"She is?!" Their father asked with a big smile on his face.
"Papa, no. I am not dating anyone," Agatha answered and pinched Adele's arm.
"OW! That hurt!" Adele exclaimed before she pulled Agatha's hair.
"Mooooom!" Agatha calls for help from their mother who was busy pulling out the plates from the cabinet.
"Hush and just help out, you two!" Ava said as her two daughters did what she said.
"How's the chestnut stuffing going, papa?" Agatha asks her father.
"Doing well, I hope it doesn't burn again like last year," he laughs as he stood up properly. He was checking the turkey which was inside the oven.
"Adele, where's your husband by the way? He never misses a holiday with us," Agatha asks.
"Oh he's at home getting ready with the ba- baskets we have to give away for his office party kind of stuff," she mumbled.
"He'd really have to stay there?" Ava questions as she wiped her hands on her apron.
"Yes, he needs to get things straight because when I get home things would be in chaos. We have a lot to prepare for, trust me," Adele said and sighed before she sat on the chair.
