Agatha was sitting on her bed as she read the book that Ichiro kindly gave him, her dress was like the ones in a 70's show, the floral ones. The one she was wearing now was an old clothing of her aunt Pez, she didn't have enough money to buy herself clothes since she had to save the money for her documents that have to be reprinted and done, so her aunt Pez gave her old clothes that she used to wear when she was in her teens to her niece instead. The yellow floral dress was almost draping down the sides of the bed since the cloth is very smooth.
.... And you'll move on and fall in love with another brain, another soul, and I'll still be here... Waiting.
Just as Agatha finished the last line of the book, her phone immediately rang making her turn and see who was calling. She smiled when she saw that it was Aleli, she doesn't get a lot of calls from her friends.
"Hi, Aleli," she greeted happily as the book rests on the top of her stomach.
"Hey, Agatha. Can you call Callahan for me?"
"Yeah sure, what am I gonna ask?" she said and sat up. This must be something important for Aleli to ask her a favor.
"Can you ask where Ichiro lives?"
"Oh okay, sure. May I ask why?" Agatha asks.
"He hasn't told anyone why he isn't attending work. It's been a couple of days already, he isn't even answering Luke's calls."
"Alright, I'll let you know," Agatha ended the call and sat up before looking for Callahan's number.
It rang two times and Callahan was quick to answer, "Hey, Agatha."
"Hi, Callahan. Just a quick questions, do you know where Ichiro lives?"
There was a pause between them, then Callahan answered after clearing his throat.
"Yes I do, why?"
"Aleli's asking. He hasn't gone to work for a while now and they're starting to worry."
"Oh okay, well I'll pick you up and-"
"Oh no, that wouldn't be necessary because I'm not coming with," Agatha said as she traced the patterns on her dress.
"Why?"
"It's a work thing and I don't work with them.. so," she said and crossed her legs beneath her dress.
"But.. I wanna see you," he said softly making Agatha ask again.
"Pardon?'
"I said I want to see you. I miss you...r jokes in person," he said trying to hold onto the hope that Agatha didn't get the part where he said he misses her.
"If you put it that way," she said and smiled. "Fine, pick me up at Risorgimento."
"Now?" he asks, the smile evident from his voice.
"Give me 15 minutes and pick me up."
"Okay, see you."
"See you too."
Agatha then got up and took her purse before slinging it around her body. She put on her sweater and cloak on top just because it was getting extra cold today. She went down the stairs and saw her uncle Oz watching television.
"Uncle Oz, I'll be going out for a while," she said as she stood by the stairs not moving before she gets the permission of his uncle.
"Sure, darl. Are you gonna have dinner here?"
"I don't think so, I'll just let you know," she said making Oz nod.
"Alright, take care of yourself. By the way, auntie Pez has something for you outside," he smiles.
