Ichiro woke up early today, he was waken up by the harsh vibration of his phone that was placed beneath his pillow. It was a message from Luke, asking if he should close the store early for the Halloween party to be held at a different building that one of their co-workers reserved. Ichiro replied with an approval before placing his phone down and heading towards the kitchen to get his coffee fix. He still hasn't thought about a costume to wear for tonight, he wouldn't even remember it if Luke didn't message him. It's not that he isn't a fan of the Halloween party, he loves it, it's just that he has a lot in mind lately. Specifically the wedding of his ex that's coming faster than he expected.

After drinking his cup of coffee, he went to the bedroom to get his mind together for his costume later tonight. He remembered that it would be held at a rooftop near the lake. He reckoned it would be cold so he took a look at his jackets. He looked to his right and as convenient as it is, saw a comic book of archie with Jughead Jones at the front of it.

"There's my costume," he said.

"It's the time of the year, Sev!" Aleli smiled widely as she carried Severus in her arms while going around the house cleaning up. She only carries Severus like this on Halloween because she can't contain her excitement. She had Beyonce blasting through the big speakers she has, no one from the neighborhood tried to call her out about it since Aleli isn't one to call out. Besides, she has old people as neighbors, they won't hear her blasting songs anyway.

"Meow," Severus said and looked up at Aleli trying to get out of her grip as she swept the floor.

"Fine, leave. Go on the couch," she said to Severus who purred when he sat on the plush couch.

Aleli then finished up cleaning the living room before she went to the bedroom area, she was fixing her costume already. Since she was so excited, last night when she got home she hung up the costume she bought online. It was customized for her and her only. "I will do D.va good," she said as she gawked at her suit that had the bright colors of pink, violet, and a bit of white. Her wig already brushed and perfectly sitting on top of the mannequin head beside the fake headphones and gun as her props.

Luke was finishing up wiping the counter before he folded the rag and placed it underneath the other rags they use for cleaning up the counter only. He sighed and dialed Aleli's number from his phone which made him smile when she answered immediately.

"Hello, pretty girl," he said as he sat on the chair by the garden outside the cafe.

"Hi, aren't you at work?"

"I am, I'll be closing up early for the party later. Do you wanna grab some lunch?" he asks as he bit his lip, still nervous that Aleli might decline even if they're officially dating.

"I'd love to! Do you want to meet up?"

"No, I'll pick you up," he said and smiles making Aleli say,

"You're smiling aren't you?"

"How could you say?"

"I could hear it in your voice, Luke," she said. "I mean, home."

"Mmmm, I still love it when you call me that," he said sweetly.

"Oi, get your ass back to work!" Luke's co-worker, Jeremy said.

"Get back to work, you're making Jeremy mad again," Aleli laughs.

"I love you," he said. "Help me pick my costume later."

"I will, and I love you too."

Agatha and Callahan stood beside each other as they looked closely at the couple sitting in front of each other. Aleli turned and waved at Agatha who walked towards them, Callahan following close behind. The guy sitting in front Aleli turned to them and it was Luke. Agatha gasps and nudges Callahan before saying "I told you so."
