Vampire's Damned Bride

Chapter 5 

~~~Zaylie's POV~~~ 

I woke up to somebody's body weight on top of mine. A heavy one. I quickly opened my eyes and got ready to fight for my life, but when I did it was just Spiffy. I sighed in relief. He was wagging his tail and whining. I groaned, it must be 6 am he always hungry then. I gently pushed him off and made my way to the kitchen. My bare feet making noise and Spiff's paws pattering behind me. I reached into the cabinet to get his food, while groaning. 

After I fed him I made my way to my room to try to sleep more. I was so sleepy and exhausted. What time did I go to sleep lastnight?I don't even remem...I cut myself off.Lastnight.Lastnight I was bitten. I quickly ran to the bathroom and threw my face at the mirror,searching.Long deep red hair parted to the side, violet eyes filled with anxiety, small nose and pink lips slightly open in fear. I lowered my gaze to my neck and sure enough there were 2 tiny pricks.

~~~Vixen's POV~~~ 

I could feel the slight burning as the sun rose. I cringed, but somehow it didn't hurt as much. I smiled its the Bride and Vampire ritual.Zaylie's blood was working in my system, making me stronger and soon I'd be a daywalker.I sighed I didn't even explain this to Zaylie.Pretty sure she hates me. I sat up, It's probably 6:30.I'd go see her tonight and try to explain everything, maybe she'd understand. I highly doubted it, once you ticked her off, she'd bite your head off could hear the deep breathing of Axten sleeping next door. I smiled mischievously as an idea popped into my head.This is what he gets for trying to take Zaylie from me. I sneaked into his blue room and grabbed his hand, putting it into the sunlight. It fizzed and I could smell the burning skin. He yelled and quickly took it from my grasp.

"What the HELL Vixen?!"He roared in absolute rage. Did I care? Nope.

"Oh what do you mean older brother?" I replied innocently. His hand was beet red, ouch.That was gonna hurt for days, since he didn't have bride to help him heal.

"Im not stupid!You know exactly what you did!"He exclaimed furiously.

"Calm down. Its what you get for trying to take Zaylie from me."I replied matter of factly.

"Well you know what? I'm sure she'll choose me."He replied cheerfully. His pain now forgotten.I wanted to punch him.He was annoying crap.

"If you go anywhere near her, I'll throw your body to burn in the sun "I replied maliciously.

"Would you really hurt her,by taking me away from her Vixen?"He said calmly.

"As id she'll ever love an idiot like you!"I spit as his face.He chuckled and turned to leave.

"Oh we'll see Vixen.Don't cry to me when she chooses me."He said over his shoulder and left.My hands were balled into fists and my fangs were digging into my bottom lip,releasing blood.I really hated him right now.I wanted to kill him,my eyes were filled with a red haze from my rage.
