***Chapter 32***

*Zaylie's Pov*

I woke up groggily to a dark room; I mumbled a curse at my sore body as I tried to sit up. Suddenly, something moved quickly beside me and a lamp flickered on. I sighed in relief to see two familiar icy blue eyes. Vixen.

"How are my parents?" I blurted out quickly.

"Great. They're still resting though." Vixen informed me and I smiled in relief.

"How do you feel?" He asked, his deep voice soaked with concern.

"Like crap." I answered honestly and he frowned.

"Want my blood? It will help you heal and will also end the ceremony." Vixen urged almost desperately.

"Whats wrong?" I questioned at his tone of voice.

"Zaylie, I can't keep having you be in danger; I love you too much. Just rely on me. Sangre will attack again soon and I want us to be tied together soon, so we're both stronger." He replied with desperation. I bit my lip as I began thinking. I wasn't good on relying in peole since I had been living alone, but I knew Vixen was someone dependable.

"Alright." I succumbed, almost nervously and a wide smile appeared on his face. "Do the Royals have to see?" I questioned curiously.

"Nope. They will know when it's done." He smiled. I watched nervously as he again cut an area on his neck and blood drippled out. He leaned in closer and I took a shaky breath; kool aid, kool aid, it's kool aid, I reminded myself as I leaned in. Vixen wrapped his arms around me as I buried my face into his neck. I licked a drop of blood and scrunched up my face in disgust at tge metallic taste. I felt Vixen shiver under me and suddenly his blood tasted good, my body also no longer felt sore. I closed my eyes and sipped more; for some reason it felt different from when he drank my blood, more peaceful.

'It's because were tied now.' A familiar deep voice said in my head.

'Vixen?' I asked.

'Yeah. Our mind and souls are connected now; so we can talk to eachother telepathically.' He explained.

'Sweet.' I cheered; I could hear his chuckle reverbate in my mind. It was odd, but it felt so nice. My heart thumped suddenly as i realized how amazingly great it was to be with Vixen.

'I love you.' He whispered and I felt his own heart thump.

I pulled away and looked him straight in the eyes. He looked at me questioningly, his eyes smothered me. "I love you too." I suddenly said and a crimson blushed covered my face. I don't think I ever saw Vixen smile as brightly as he did now; his eyes seemed to lighten shades brighter and his heart beat wildly beside me.

His grip on my waist tightened and he scooted closer; he tilted my head up and I realized what he was doing and I complied. As he lowered his lips to mine, I raised mine to his and I kissed him sweetly. Our hearts seemed to hum in sync. I couldn't believe I loved Vixen, but I knew it wad true all along and I was fighting it. I dug my hands in his black hair as he kissed me deeper. I pulled away once i needed air and smiled up at him. He pecked me quickly on the lips and then pulled me onto his lap.

"Finally, you were so stubborn," He smirked and I flicked his forehead.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes, but I hugged him and laid my head on his solid chest.

He lifted my left hand and kissed the black diamond on the wedding ring and my eyes widened in realization. We were married now. Oh Goddess; I felt old.

Vixen seemed to read my thoughts as he laughed at my expression. "Youre stuck with me." He smirked.

"Damn." I said sarcastically. He chuckled and pulled me to my feet.

"Lets get you something to eat." He announced. I agreed excitedly and kicked him out of the room so I could take a shower; luckily, my clothes were in the room.

When I got out I saw Calice waiting outside for me, a concerned and sad look on his face. "How do you feel?" He asked.

"Great." I replied happily, suddenly his face clouded.

"You tied the knot huh?" He guessed, his voice hoarse. I nodded slowly; feeling slightly guilty. "Well he's a lucky bastard." He chuckled and I looked up to see his eyes twinkling with humor.

"Just remember, i'm always here for you." He smiled."Now let's eat." He said and steered me to the restaraunt in the hotel.

When we arrived, it was a badass restaraunt. It was dark with small white lights hanging from the ceiling and fake trees also wrapped in lights. There were red booths and a bar on the side. Soft Rock music played in the speakers.

Vixen spotted me and came to grab my hand; when we got to the table that everybody was already seated at, they began to cheer endlessly. I looked around in bewilderment; what the hell?

"Hey sista in law!" Axton called out and my face reddened. They knew. Vixen shook his head at his idiotic brother and led me to sit beside him; Calice then sat to my right, while Axton sat in front of me and Vixen's parents beside him.

"Thank you for accepting such a strange son." Mr. Zealios joked and I laughed.

"What can I say? I'm all for charity." I responded and everybody bursted out laughing.

"Welcome to the family." Mrs. Zealios said and I nodded in thanks.

"Hey since you're my sis now, you have to be nice to me." Axton said and I raised a brow at him.

"Im pretty sure since your my bro, I get to be meaner." I replied and he scoffed.

"I agree." Vixen interjected and that started another childish fight between the brothers.

We quickly ate, well Calice and I ate normal food, while the vampires ate bloody stuff.

"So tomorrow we have to make an announcement to all of the witches and vampires." Vixen notified me, as we walked around the hotel, since I don't want to go back to the room i've been in for days.

I frowned," I tend to embarrass myself in big crowds."

"All the more to look forward to it." Vixen smirked and I glared at him, but it quickly softened. Oh shiznits, love is making soft.
