3rd pov
"Oh give me a break!" - Jeongguk's voice broke the deafening silence of school's white, hospital like hallway. - "Did you really think you could trick ME into doing that?". The bell had already rang, but he wasn't even trying to talk quieter.
"What is there that I can't do?" - Taehyung laughed a bit, trying to soften the situation.
"Well, apparently, you can't lie to me to get what you want!".
Jeongguk was obviously angry, which made the grey haired boy feel a bit guilty of his actions. He needed to think of an apology, and fast.
"Guk, I'm sorry, okay? I just needed a plan to get away from my grandparents for the weekend. That's when I thought that you could sneak out with your parents' car and--",
"You could've just asked me to borrow it! I'm sure they would get fifty percent less angry if I didn't steal it!" - the other boy interrupted straight away, letting himself be guided by feelings rather than logic.
Taehyung could see Jeongguk starting to boil again. So he remained silent, knowing that he can't change the situation with his words. He could've used his ability to calm him down, but recalling the times when whenever he used it - Guk would know.
And he didn't understand how.
"Boys, why aren't you in your classes?!"- both of them snapped their heads to the voices' direction. One of the teachers was standing in the doorway of the class, eyeing them head to toe. Getting caught like this was embarrassing, because no one really tried skipping lessons.
" Ah! Miss Choi, sorry about that. We accidentally passed each other and exchanged a few words. We will be going now!"- Jeongguk said in a patter and turned around, giving Taehyung one last glance and murmuring something around the lines of: '..My house...after school..' . After that he instantly ran off to wherever he needed.
Taehyung was left alone in the teachers glare, not for long though, as he saw her relax, let out a light sigh and go inside the cabinet she originally came from.
He grinned devileshly to himself.
"Oh, she's weak."
