"I...

HATE that movie. "

"I legitimately don't believe you, we used to watch it every weekend when we were kids!"

"We aren't kids anymore though."

Jeongguk tried to act surprised: "Wait...we aren't?"

"Okay, I'm not a kid. YOU on the other hand--" - Tae shot back jokingly.

"Don't you dare."

Joking around like that brought back a lot of similar memories for Taehyung. He wondered if Guk missed this too. After a while of conversing and arguing about the choice of the movie, they decided not to watch anything. At least for now. Instead, they went outside to get an adrenaline rush in a way only Taehyung would suggest - smashing bottles.

"Do you know any spots in the area with not so many eyes staring out the window?"

"Trust me, I know just the place. " -Tae reassured, his hand in the shape of an 'OK' sign.

"Great. You're the guide."

"Are you scared?"

"Well, my parents belong to a highly respected company, so I should at least be careful."

Taehyung totally forgot that Jeongguk comes from a wealthy family and can't really afford being a delinquent of that sort, slight guilt overcame him: "Oh, right. If you wanna do somethin' different just say it. No pressure."

"I know, I know. It's okay though."

He really did know that.

"Guk, did your eyes always glow like that?"

'Oh shit. Think fast' -Jeongguk basically commaded his brain.

"Just my power acting up, I guess."

"Immortality? Isn't it just there without you using it? "

"Not exactly."

Guk didn't really like talking about his powers. He was afraid of others realising he had more than one. Two at that. This was a close call, he totally forgot his Answer Intuition had a con like that and mentally facepalmed. He let his guard down. That can't repeat itself.

The conversation ended there, just like Guk figured it would. Although Taehyung knew his friend too well to know that something was up. He did not want to ruin the evening, to ruin the rare opportunity, so he didn't say a thing.

They walked by the river for a few minutes,
admiring the view of the Zeno bridge. It almost seemed like an amusement park with all those holographic lights. That view was ruined by some guy throwing his phone as far as he could into the river. Like there's not enough polluted water in the world. The two snickered to themselves as the guy hurried off. Soon they turned left and passed houses, which seemed to be too close to one another, climbed up a small hill and went through thin woods:

"Aaand voila!"

There were dozens of abandoned caravans. Jeongguk was quite stunned, as he never expected, nor knew, about such a place here.

Taehyung looked back at the other boy, suddenly proud of himself. It's been a while since Guk showed such an emotion. It really has, huh?

"Oi, earth to Guk!"

He looked at Taehyung, eyes wide, corners of his lips curled up. Tae waved an old green bottle of beer in front of him, a suggesting grin on his face.

"Let's get down to the business."
